ub3rman123
Open a .esp file by opening the CS, then going to File>Data, and checking off your mod plus its dependencies (All mods depend on Oblivion.esm being checked). After that, click on your mod and press Make Active File. Then press OK.
ell46
I did get one to open, by using "Open with" and choosing the CS, but not the other one. I did a clean uninstall last night of everything Oblivion and I'm going to install everything outside of the programs folder today as suggested by you earlier or I'll die trying  I refuse to let win7 control my PC. ell46
I still can't open my saved esp files to edit them, this is what I'm doing;- Open CSClick on File >>> DataCheck Oblivion.esmCheck MyHouse.esp >>> Set as Active FileClick OK Now I'm looking at a list of available objects in the "ObjectWindow" for OblivionA list of Interiors in the "Cell View" windowA completely blank white "Render Window" When I saved my file this is what I did;- Click File >>> SaveNamed the file MyHouseClicked on SaveA window opened saying something about nif files and continuing playing, I clicked "Yes to all". In the tuts I've been learning the CS they don't even mention this window popping up, so assumed what I clicked was OK.
ub3rman123
Yeah, I get that sometimes. To get the render window to have something in it, you need to load a cell. YOu load cells by double-clicking on one in the Cell View window.

ell46
This is going into circles. Would you mind sharing your Construction Set screen here with me? Not quite circles  prior to my last post. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything Oblvion so I've not been idle. Do you want a screen shot? Pronam
Yes please. One before you load and after you loaded the mod, if possible.
