Malchik
Some years ago I produced a list of all MW quests and where you got them. In that list I split multipart quests into their separate sections and added in unscripted quests such as the Threads of the Webspinner. I am about to do the same for Oblivion and wondered if other players had any ideas on what should be split up and what could be considered 'unscripted'. At the moment the only quest that I believe is not split automatically in game is 'The Secrets of the Ayleids' relating to the Collector. I am not looking for quests where you have to get several items or visit different people but those where you must report back to the quest giver that the first stage is done before you can get the next. Anyone think of any other cases like that? For unscripted quests again it is not simply finding something lying about but finding an object that leads you on to another. I have four atm The Horror of Dive RockThe Ring of OmnipotenceThe Key to Infinite TreasureThe Lych of the Lost Boy Caverns Again you players who have done it all, is there anything I could add? I don't have any of the official plug-ins. Any info on quest titles and where you get them from in OFFICIAL plug-ins would be gratefully received. (BTW - At present my list gives 203 quests. This includes 9 buying houses, the 21 less than exciting master trainer quests and about eight 8 so-called Dark Brotherhood quests that are nothing more than gaps between contracts. So closer to 175 proper quests. MW had about 450 without plug-ins or expansions.)

It's not really a quest, but you get some stuff and a ring in the end. Oh yeah, this is only three days old, so please don't get angry with me *looks like my cat after she created lemonade in the bathtub*.

Rhydderch Hael
Theres some dead guy over one mountain with a strang love letter but that doesnt lead to anything. Just a quest that was dropped out me thinksThat would be Nath Dyer, decorating the lake just west of Fort Nikel. You'll find his skull in the bottom of the lake benath his body. — There's the Troll bridge suicide. — After the Oblivion Gates start threatening cities, there's one gate in particular near Fort Sutch that gets assaulted by a band of Imperial Legion soldiers. In the one instance I've played this out, one of the soldiers told me to talk to the Cap'n. Of course, the Cap'n was already engaged in battle at the time and subsequently died in the ensuing fight, so I didn't get all the info.

I guess not protect it, but, more specifically, who's in it (DB quest). If you have the guy, it'll say something about it. Of course, if you wanted to experience it first hand (on your computer/XBox), you could open up the console and do the resurrect command. Or if you have the Hilarity mod, you could always just cast the resurrect spell on him.
Malchik
Thanks, I think the Fort Sutch gate may be added. The others are pure easter eggs that do not lead anywhere so I don't think they class as quests any more than the powerful helm in the sea off Anvil (CE detect life, breathe water and night eye effects at level one!) But it took me an age to find it!

Malchik
Look young person, I don't try to mislead the forum. It is real. The glass helm is called Fin Gleam and you can check it out in the CS if you don't believe me. I assure you it is there near a skeleton underwater on the west side of the island nw of Anvil. It is hard to see.

If you just provided a name, I wouldn't have asked you if it was real or a joke. Like I said, I was mis lead once, and don't want it to happen again. Malchik
The helm is only found in the sea according to the CS.
