Help me please

Ive got a serious problem with my weapons I make in 3ds.. I havent gotten a single one to be in the chars hand, they right to the hand (about the lenght of a folded robe away). :(

There's also a problem with my textures.. I texture the stuff, but in the game, they aint textured, the parts r just colored in different colors..

 

Is there anyone that can help me? please! :unsure:

Ok,

1) Align the weapon in the top view with the tip of the blade at the top, the handle at 0,0,0 and the cutting edge facing to the right. Set the pivot point to wherever you want the character to hold it (the middle between the two hands for 2h weapons) and then move the weapon so the pivot is on 0,0,0. I can give you some screenshots if this doesn't make sense.

2) Probably a bad texture format. Are they in the right file type (.tga or .dds) and the right dimensions (square and each side multiple of 128 pixels). And you have to be using the right material/shader type. The TES shader should work, but the default type also seems to work fine.

3) If 2) isn't the problem, are your textures mapped right and showing up in 3dsmax renders?
