Sinophile
Greetings,I have been using my uncle's computer since my laptop is in for repairs. I've noticed that along the bottom of the monitor two rings of dead pixels have been slowly getting bigger. Currently, one is about an inch in diameter, and the other about one third that size. A couple days ago, each circle was only half as big. On a related note, it is a 4 year old monitor that was purchased along with a very low end Hewlett Packard Computer system( 256Mb RAM, Pentium 4 Processor). Is there any way to stop or at least slow the rate at which the pixels appear to be dying?
CommanderCrazy
Nope. Monitors, like animals, have a lifetime.
Corlan
If you ask me, take a Warhammer, and Kill your Monitor with a Blow... That way you ease it's pain and have fun too! Then buy a new one :P

I had no need of it at the time so I never tried the software, but such an animal may exist.
