I have OBSE, OMM, and Wyre Bash and the latest patch. Whenever I try to start a new game, it crashes. Is my load order wrong? I made sure everything is compatible though.

Yes, your load order is wrong (us BOSS and rebuild your patch).

I did- I followed the directions here: http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/finishinstall but it's still crashing every time I click new game.

I've played Oblivion on this computer before, so I know it can work. However, this is the first time I also installed Knights of the Nine DLC collection. I tried running it without them but it still crashes.

 

I looked at the .ini, and I have no <include src= lines. Could that be the problem?

 

SOLVED IT

Ultimate 3rd person view was the issue. deactivated it, and now it runs fine
