I think I'm losing interest in gaming.

I can't seem to find anything out on the market right now for the PS3 or 360, that even interests me. I am so heavily burned out on FPS, and GTA clones, that games like Mafia II, and Modern WF 2 just don't even interest me anymore. The problem, is if you asked me what I was looking for I really couldn't be specific, the last PS3 game that I really enjoyed was Demons Souls, and that game is completely unique. Basically, I have seen about everything there is to see in games, and in order to interest me, they gotta do something original, that hasn't been done before. I find myself replaying more older games, than playing new ones, even though I got the money to buy any new games I want. I'm 28 years old, and I am pretty much burned out on gaming in general. Is it just me or is this console gaming market just alienating my age group?

Most console games are tripe anyway. Take an innovative game, clone it ad nausium, and run with it until the next "big thing" pops up.

Let me make the suggestion nobody else has - take a break.

No gaming - just find something else to do for a while to mix things up. Then, when you come back, you might "discover" a game you've had for years

The last game that really made my jaw drop was Heavenly Sword, on the PS3. The mo-capped emotive expressions were mind blowing.

I agree that there are very few innovative games being released nowadays, that's why I'm so glad there are mod-able games!

i am not impressed, what they try to achieve on ps3, pc has already achieved..

my suggestion is to sell your ps3 and buy computer, enjoy realy gaming.. enjoy the games as they are supposed to be enjoed and played, not with a pad!

Its not hat they have perfected it on a the pc, but have perfected the sheer amounts of cars and customization of the cars on the pc, i haven't seen a game come close to GT series, as of yet.

Not just about the graphics its how large the game is in general..

I agree nothing beats a pc game any day when it comes to graphics, but in content is another story, at least in a racing game.
