Porting FO3 Armor? (winterized combat armors)

Hey guys, I did a quick search and it seems like no one has really done what I'm looking for. I wanted to see if there was a way to get the winterized combat armor and the winterized medic armor from FO3/Mothership Zeta into New Vegas? I couldn't find any mod that has these armors in it, and I wanted to see if perhaps I could do it myself? I have no idea how to get into porting or making a mod, and I'm totally new to the PC scene (just built my first one this month!). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Of course it can be done. First, you would need a copy of both games. Then follow the steps from this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDMpXrNm71o

 

Or use the search function at the Fallout 3 mods and see if there are any mods that have been made. This would eliminate the need for both games. And again follow the steps in the tutorial.

 

Just so you know, you cannot upload any mods that port anything from the games. You can, with the original creator's permission, upload a mod that would port a mod between the two games.
