The real Celtic roots of Bloodmoon

Do any of you know exactly how much the developers of Bloodmoon delved into Celtic tradition? Quite alot, as I was pleasantly surprised to see! While I can't list everything off the top of my head, I'll be giving the game another play in the next few days and shall keep a list of what I come across (besides, it's too late at night for my brain to be functioning anymore). Watch this thread as I unravel the real Celtic roots of Bloodmoon. ;)

managing criss? sounds like my freshman year in college, then i dumped all my friends and made new ones...

The thing that i love about MW is that like LOTR a lot of connections can be made between game lore and earth lore. it brings about a nice tie that makes, in some ways, the game such that you can play it and almost believe something like this existed at one point in an age long forgotten.

I'm developing a mod with some other people that are making two new islands and our priority is to make it fit with the world of morrowind so that you could believe these places have always been there just uncharted. daunting yes...why, cause we have to commit to memory every bit of history in Vvardenfell as seen through the books. once we have that done we can start compossing our civilizations.

good luck on the celtic stuff, makes me want to buy the expansion even more but only after i've made a new character that would be suitable for it. the one i have right now would turn up her nose to traveling to a place like that.

I feel the same way you do thanateros, I really appreciate it when programmers and writers put detail behind their works instead of just placing things in gameworl just for the sake of it.

Personally I like to think of the Morrowind world as one that because of the manipulation of magic, never experienced the industrial revolution the extent that we did, but rather remained in a golden age.

Basically I wish we all still ran around with swords instead of guns :P
