Hello,

I finally got my game to be stable with mods. So I replaced AoS with AoS2, Pure Waters with Realistic Water 2. I added Double Torch Radius, Immersive Armors, Immersive Weapons, Immersive NPC in the Dark and Immsersive Patrols. After I did this it was stable, perfectly fine. After a few hours I completed the bards college Olaf thing, then did the Wolf Queen quest. it first crashed in that cave, I thought nothing of it, Skyrim crashes occasionally.

As I have already said, it does not crash on a new save.

After I did the quest, I headed back to Solitude and it crashed on the journey, I started up and got to the entrance of Solitude where it continued to crash and I couldn't do anything apart from quickly do

coc SolitudeBluePalace

I completed the quest, saved and it crashed. And it keeps doing so.

I use Mod Organizer, my game is installed to the usual C:\ location with Steam.

my PC specs are:

  • 6-core 3.5Ghz AMD fx 6300
  • 8GB DDR3 RAM
  • AMD 7870 2Gb VRAM

I have the DLC Hearthfire, Dragonborn and Dawnguard. I have the Highres DLC disabled.

The mods I have installed are as follows:

I've run LOOT and done TES5edit on Inigo (the only dirty plugin, I had previously cleaned everything else)

And I know I am not running out of VRAm as I have 2GB of it, and it doesn't crash on this new character.

I would start by running TES5EDIT and make sure your mods are playing nicely together. Tutorial here:

Then check my first post here:

With all those mods you may be running out of VRAM

It also did not a crash on start up, it happens randomly while playing for a few measly seconds, sometimes longer.

I don't want to lose my higher level character, as I haven't done all I want to with that one yet.

I will check out the video though.

I have run TES5Edit, there is no issue:

I am going to run GenerateFNISForUsers, just in case. Hopefully that might fix something. Afterwards I am going to uninstall, then reinstall Pure Weather (since I don't have Pure Waters any more, maybe it relies on something for that, or screws up Realistic Water 2)

**UPDATE**

Previous comments achieved nothing. Autosaving etc. works fine, then it crashes without warning. I managed to "coc riverwood" and walk around, no FPS trouble. Then crash.

Just installed Pure Weather again, and now I am going to load up and see if it works, afterwards (if it crashes) I will try respawning the cells.

Installing Pure Weather did not help. And Respawning the cells did not help, it crashed immediately afterwards.

I have noticed that it does not crash while I am in a menu, only when I am in game.

No mention of the things that make Skyrim Stable , so i will ask.

Do you have...

Stable Ugrids to load<<< (even default Ugrids needs this.)

SKSE w/SKSE.ini<<<Memory blocks , replaces SSME

ENB (all current versions of ENB come with BOOST) use with or without Graphics. <<<Memory management.

Check links in my Sig, get these 3 things working and Skyrim can be stable , then look for incompatible mods.

Post a Load Order. Use LOOT.

Download SPM (Skyrim Performance Monitor) run that for a bit or till crash, post the graph.

The list of mods should show that I have SKSE/SKSE.ini

I don't have an ENB installed (pretty sure)

I used LOOT

and I cant get skyrim performance monitor to work with Mod Organizer.

I will try stable uGrids to load. What settings do you recommend?

Thanks for the help.

**UPDATE**

Got SPM to work, and here are the graphs. Remember this setup works perfectly fine on a new save.

**UPDATE 2**

Tried stable uGrids to load at 5 and 6, it still crashes.

Leave Ugrids at default (5) the Mod insures only 5 Grids are loaded as in vanilla can mess this up sometimes. By the way it can only be ODD numbers 5,7,9, 11 Best to leave at 5.

ADD an ENB for the memory manager. You can just get the Default from 'enbdev.com'. And in the ENBlocal.ini set this line TRUE>>UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false That will give you the BOOST feature without any graphic modifications.

Post the contents of this LOG>> skse_steam_loader.log... found in your MY docs folder...IE:......\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SKSE

I don't quite understand what you want me to do on enbdev.com. Could you elaborate please?

Again, thanks for the help.
