Skyrim Random CTD, No Error, no initial lag warning. Does not occur on new save. MODS INSTALLED

Tried coc Whiterun and it still crashed.

Yes you should be able to still use the level 47 dude. I loaded it and it worked fine. But when he scanned your save he found that it was looking for a patch between "wet and cold" and "AOS". Try what I said above being very careful to only install patches that you need.

It didn't work.

There must be a mod other than AoS2 that is screwing it up.

 

Should I reinstall every mod?

 

Also; I noticed that at the start of a new game, Ulfric's mouth wasn't gagged. Maybe I should verify game cache?

Save Ran fine for me...I Cleaned it and Played , finished a few Quests, nearly went up a level. That's a bad ass Sword....What did you Do ,.in Markath...lmao.... They attached me,.so now I think every last guard there is now dead . ...Was having fun cause...not my save...sorry...Any way you are now Thane of Markath...But the guards kept chasing you around...Went to Riften, MArthal , Whiterun, all locations load without issues. So the Game engine does not have any issues with what is IN your save. The Game is having issues whit something you have loading, I ran it on a minimal set of mods . I was waiting for a crash, loading houses, cities , fights...at one point in Markath I was in a fight with 5 Guards, NO Issues, so i finally gave up waiting on the Crash at 2 hours! Did a Contract Kill...(Long shot, in Sneak mode behind a Guards Back HE did not See guy fall behind lumbermill)...lmao

 

Ohh and your dude looks WICKED! Even had a good amount of Severed heads, killl moves. Your Guy is fun to fight with, I recall My Second (now on 4th) Character was like that, My Current one is getting close now.\

 

Defrag your HDD (never defrag an SSD) Read all your Read-mes...That save is solid. I cleaned the later one. Removed the "Orphned Scripts" and Fix script instances with the Save cleaner. Then Started playing waiting for a crash,,,never did.

Use Wrye Bash...That can show you things about your Save.

EDIT: I keep losing my Edit...Valkyre's post is spot on....Forum did not show me thos 4 posts above.....Till after i posted...lol.

Use Wrye Bash, You can see what the Save needs as far as mods.

The Script cleaner worked fine on that save, removes a bunch of "Orphened Scripts" Use it before you remove any more mods. Try to load the save just to save again (use NEW slot).

I'm glad the save isn't ruined. Maybe you can send me the cleaned save? I might have done something wrong, because it still crashes after a few moments for me.

 

I tried running the game with original AoS and the patches, that didn't work. I have no clue why it's working on your computers but not mine!

 

My hard drive is not fragmented. Maybe I should reinstall every mod and verify integrity of game cache. I just don't want to do it without confirming that it's okay from you guys.

Well one thing is certain...that is one Backed up Character....3 people now have the original files at least...lol

 

I see no harm in Doing what you have said...Back up your saves. (LoL) . I did do just that in the past. Remove everything, Use Wry Bash to insure all mods were REinstalled that the Save needs. Continue playing, like nothing happened, you do have to recall what esp's you used from all your mods but Wrye helps with that.

 

Have you run the Script cleaner?. Click 3 buttons and your Save will be clean.

I have run both script cleaners. What three buttons do you mean?

This could all be finished with in 10 minutes if we Skyped.

 

Also, could you send me the save you cleaned? In case I did it wrong.

 

And what mods did you have installed, that I don't?

On the Right you see "OPEN"...click and find your copy of the Save. Load it.

IT will say ..497 orphan script instances found. ....center box.

Click "Fix Script Instances"..it then says>>>>Removing orphan script instances.. 497 script instances removed.

 

Then Click ...Delete all #.....it will Then say>>>.204 scripts and 16 instances removed.

Then Click.....Save. (it will ask to overwrite...yes)

I don't have any sex mods installed, I did once because my friend came round and installed it -__-

I have the female body mod but they shouldn't be Nude. And Sofia has a bug where she takes her armour off.
