Annoying FOSE problem

Whenever I try to download the FOSE version I need, and the loader, it gives me an error message saying that it isn't in the same folder as the fallout3.exe

I am brand new to this, and I don't know what that means, but this problem is starting to piss me off. Is there any way I can get it so that I can run Fose on my computer?

I have windows 7, and if Fose doesn't work for Windows 7, it would be helpful to know.

This problem is starting to get disheartening. Seriously.

If it says it's not in the same folder as the Fallout 3 exe, that means you should move it into the same folder as Fallout3.exe.

Default location for it is \Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\ (on 64 bit systems, it'll be under \Program Files (x86)\)

I am literally brand new to modding. So I don't know what any of that meant

You mean brand new at computing I guess.

Open Windows Explorer and have a look around. You'll see pretty quickly.

Edit: Ah, here's a primer on file management, a vital skill to have for every computer user: http://www.edu.pe.ca/journeyon/pro_d_pages/file_management/FileManagementinWindows.htm it uses XP, but the concepts and methods are exactly the same in 7. 7 just lacks some of the buttons and the menu. The keyboard shortcuts mentioned there will work as will drag and drop.
