Internet Explorer 9 Beta

Before I begin. All you people who use different browsers and love them so much you want to come on here and say "Lulz use firefox it\'z bettr!"... Don't, move on and go away.

 

I recently downloaded the beta last night and quite honestly... It feels no different besides being a little more inconvinient.

 

When I download mods I have to actually choose where to save it to in the settings instead of the old Save button, now the save button just makes sure it goes to the Downloads folder, thats quite annoying.

The nexus chat also has a right hiccup whenever you try sending a message.

 

Other than that it feels exactly the same as 8, no new features or anything. The toolbar is a lot smaller, the search bar to the right has gone and tabs are in a small part at the top (That really doesn't help)

Also for some reason whenever i press enter it does this..

 

goes down to here? What the hell? That is not right at all.

 

I will provide microsoft with a more detailed report on this in an effort to make it better, but I feel I think I shall roll back to Internet Explorer 8

They'll all release a new browser soon, there are so many things like html5 that offer a bunch of opportunities, it'll be mostly in security and possibilities (for addon-developers/websites, not users) than any user-comfort or eye-appealing things. (although they always claim otherwise.)

 

Although I'm not a regular user, I'm forced to use it sometimes. I won't get till its release (IE 7 beta nightmares), but if they'll get rid of a few bars I'd like that..It's always been a big nuisance for me that IE clutters the screen for a quite a bit.

Well I've kinda reverted back to IE8 now, so now I feel happy.

The windows is only as cluttered as you make it =P

All I have is the top tab bar and the search bar, thats way smaller than all the other browsers I use.

I don't get to play. I run XP. I imagine even if I had it, it still wouldn't replace SeaMonkey as my primary browser. I'd probably only get it so LunaScape and SlimBrowser could use the updated Trident engine.
