Crash on intercom use

Hello,

I have recently started playing Fallout 3 and I seem to have a strange issue. Anytime I use an intercom, my game crashes. I have played the game for about 3 or 4 hours and only crashed when I use an intercom. The first time it happened (GNR building), I could just unlock the door with console commands. Now, I have to get to Rivet City, but I have no Idea how to move a bridge with console commands. If anyone knows how to move the bridge with console commands/ use the intercoms without crashing, I would appreciate it.

What kind of sound card do you have?

I did just go through a lot of steps to make my radio sound normal in the game (instead of stuttering), so that might have done something. I don't really think it has to do with the sound, because the whole file plays and it crashes when the action is supposed to happen (unlock door, move bridge).

 

EDIT: Never mind. I just loaded without mods and reloaded with them active.
