Not a valid oblivion plugin

Im having problems with adding mods.

I can not check the file in the oblivion launcher.
When I try to check them I get "this is not a valid oblivion plugin or master file"

I have read all the topics I found with searching and none had a solution.

I have had alot of mods before, but now I reinstalled and they do not work anymore (ANY mod: example tqp map marker mods, keychain)

I can check the files with obmm, but it does not affect anything. (though when opening obmm the files are still checked)
And every time I launch obmm I get "could not load BSA".

I have checked the requirements for the mods and I have everything needed and installed properly (Its not my first time with mods anyways..)

I have GOTY (obiviously 12 0 416 patch, since goty came after)

~All help will be appreciated

Did you install Oblivion to the Program Files protected folder structure, in other words the default location? If so, uninstall and reinstall outside of this. Somewhere like C:\Games\Oblivion .

"this is not a valid oblivion plugin or master file"

I get this message if I accidentally download a Morrowind mod with a poor description and try to use it with Oblivion. But that does not sound like your problem.

I have had the mods working earlier on this same folder. (I got win7 and its in the x86)

I just reinstalled (uninstalled oblivion and installed it, then added unoffical oblivion patch and the mods I download dont work anymore.)

And why would the patches and the game and everything else work perfectly, but not checking the mods D:?
