Timberwolftrass2005 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 For some reason unknown to me, Wrye Bash won't start up and i am not sure why... I downloaded and installed the Wrye Python 03a and pretty much did everything the installation menu told me to do, then I downloaded the Wrye Bash 287 archive, unzipped it and placed it in my Oblivion folder. if i understand that right, i should be able to start Wrye Bash by double clicking on the Wrye Bash Launche.pyw file, which i tried out but it doesn't respond... nothing is happening. I get the moving circle, implying for something to be processed, but nothing happens. I am using Windows 7 home edition with 32 bit and Oblivion is located in C:\ProgramFiles\Bethesda\Oblivion anyone have any idea what's wrong?
Hickory Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Right click on the Wrye Bash Launcher.pyw and select 'Open With'. Navigate to your Python installation and select the Pythonw.exe , making sure that you check 'Always use this program...'

Timberwolftrass2005 Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 Please take a look here. i tried to look at the "bug dump" referred to in the guide, but honestly, i have no idea what's written in there. i don't really understand it. want me to copy&paste it here or something because i frankly can't figure it out.

You could try letting pythonw.exe "Run as Administrator".
