ShiftyShifty Posted September 20, 2010 Share Posted September 20, 2010 I have several major overhaul mods running on my Fo3, all of which worked perfectly and without any problems. Once I made it to the part where the Enclave captures you after retrieving the GECK, I now cannot level-up without my Fo3 locking up. I can go through the whole leveling process of distributing points and choosing a perk, but as soon as I choose my perk and hit the OK button it locks up on me. Sometimes it will CTD, most of the time it will just freeze entirely. I have to deactivate half the mods I have running, level up, save, then reactivate. I'm hoping it's only a problem with my load order. Also, this didn't seem to happen until I installed IMCN (Imp's More Complex Needs) but if I deactivate it I still have the problem. Is there a tutorial on the site? @ joey2176 You mean all my .esm 's have to be before my .esp 's? Even if they depend on loading after certain other mods? EDIT: I found a tutorial on making merged patches, Kudos to both of you, and it seems I have already given you a kudos in the past, Quetzlsacatanango. Quetzlsacatanango Posted September 20, 2010 Share Posted September 20, 2010 Just run fo3edit with your current load order ticked. Then when it's done, right click and choose 'create merged patch'. rickerhk Posted September 21, 2010 Share Posted September 21, 2010 I'm having the same issue with freeze on level up to level 11 yesterday. After installing the Book of EarAche for the first time. I can only make the problem go away by unticking xCALIBRuniverse.esp.But the problem could still be an interaction with another mod. I'd like to find the problem because I really like this mod so far. I tried merged patch, masterupdate, unticking all my mods except this one. No luck. Nsinger998 Posted September 21, 2010 Share Posted September 21, 2010 what are your stats(big guns, sneak, ect)? if you don't have space for the 20 skill points at level up it will freeze. try pressing ~ then typing something like player.setav (biggest stat) -50then press enter and try to level up.
