Purr4me
I am on the page that has the patcheshttp://patches.bethsoft.com/That is incorrect, and it's a run around, what ever is going on there , with their networks, it not 64bit friendly, zero of those pages are seen ion this 32bit system as they were Just witnessed on the dev preview system 64 bit using two browsers .None the less I found what you need, I'll provide the files page and a direct download link Encase you can not load their pages.File page: (http://fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/downloads/updates.php)Direct Download link, click this and it will download to your PC.(http://cdn.bethsoft.com/fallout/3/patches/1.7/Fallout3_1.7_English_US.exe) That....I found defiantly frustrating not to be able to locate or see simple things.well we all learn things so I know what to expect from posts. Seeing things for my self that is.http://s26.postimg.org/iug34g1s9/patch_pages.jpg on the off topic thing. we had better pray they do work things out because the power of world entertainment is currently in all their hands. The internet now is king of the hill, there is very little left of the old world Broadcasting left. Pay per view, and soon, pay per play will be whats in, and we will be left out in the cold.Hang on toll assets you lay your hands on including hardware's. when you wake up and install this..you will have to remind me where your at with the established game, I got side track big time fighting Bethesda web sites bugs. 64BIT screwy things Kitty. Aslik
Okay, so first I installed just disk one of my two disk set, then I installed Justin's "Steam" .exe from that one fake replacer page you asked me to, and now I've installed the 1.7 update. Do I need to reinstall Justin's Steam replacer on top of that 1.7 update?Or should I finally try running fallout 3 and see if we've gotten any headway? Purr4me
Do I need to reinstall Justin's Steam replacer on top of that 1.7 update? No. that's it, the game should be ready now to run, the things left to deal with is xlive IF and only if the Ordeal thingy pops up, other wise you should have a viable default 1.7 updated game there. In My signature there are two links, one of them is for the OS update for Xlive software from Microsoft for that OS, it updates whats from the disc to meet the system standards so Direct play will work right. Download and install it.if you get the message pop up and it refuses to run now, go to the system32 directory and copy the xlive dll's to the games folder, now it will run correctly and in the correct formats. Aslik
When I try to run the microsoft live thing, it installs, and when when I try and run it it says "Connection error, can't start the program. there might be a problem with your internet connection or the LIVE service."The fact I'm sending a message now should show there's no problem with my internet connection. In any case, I'll try running Fallout 3 now.......Well...we've gone backwards. Now I get the birth scene and it freezes before the first words are uttered. Edited December 27, 2014 by Aslik

Purr4me
I have a feeling we are chasing our proverbial tails here and the Processor there is the key element that is the fault. The fact you posted that you have another type of graphics adaptoer slipped through the cracks here. Now if this thing fixes this bug ?.... like wow !I am assuming you have made the needed tweaks to the ini file too?
