Rivet city crashing

Here I have it like this (C:\Users\purr4me\AppData\Local\Fallout3)

In other profiles on this test bed system , the only change in the path statement is the name of the profile.

For each Fallout3 temp folder that are 3 files listed in them'

  1. DLCList.txt
  2. Plugins.fo3viewsettings
  3. plugins.txt

these are placed into the folder due to runni9ng the game just once and have a hard saved game in the username\My Documents folder\My Games\Fallout 3\saves.

But, if you can not complete the CG to begin with? then no, there won't be.

But, If I understand you correctly, you now have a Full Blown Virgin game sitting on the drive? Disc 1 only...? is that correct?

I have disks 1 and 2 installed, the DLC as well. Sorry I forgot to mention that. Would that have an effect?

Ahh, Appdata. I was looking for "apps".

I've found the described folder, and inside is DLCList.txt and plugins.txt.

The defragmenting process is complete and after running the game again, I can confirm no change has occurred, the same issues with the long pauses is happening.

Being Retail you have what's called SecurRom installed as well, it's a DRM , it was slated and meant strictly for 32bit systems.

IT is a digital rights manager and is running on that system, it comes from the second DVD/ CD disk, to Verify this sequence, tell me the size. the file size of the game fallout3launcher.exe file._(_____________)_

you may need again to start over, the DLC packages are left out for a really Good reason. this was that reason. ..Zero DLC content is to be installed from a retail disc.

so first...make a folder for all the assets you currently have of the DLC packages right now,,,,,you "Copy them" all the bsa archives, the master files for the DLC's to another folder, I am going to show you how to make backed up re-installer for your second disc content. waste not want not.

once you have all of the DLC content "only" backed up, right click the folder you made and zip it up....when the zip file is completed

delete the wasted folder space, and uninstall the gain, re/clean the system and this time only install falout3 ,no other content.

I am basing this off the premises that you have a 64bit system....is that is so, then do what I ask here. your systems codecs integrity is effected by DRM managment software and will not allow processing freely with out dual processing of the data it is charged with monitoring.....Digital rights is what that means.....secuRom has no place here. I call it Suck Rom managers. because it sucks !

your getting a crash course in Bethesda distribution bugs. That's what your suffering from. Suck Rom is very nasty stuff.

http://www.reclaimyourgame.com/showthread.php/314-quot-SecuROM-Removal-Instructions-quot-Revised

read the above only the next link will be from the very company that has the correct software to remove that Junk from your PC, there IS no other choice here, you have it, it is installed and there are no other means to dissuade it's influences.

https://www2.securom.com/Solutions.65.0.html <---that shows what it's all about. That's why no one can help you or those that suffer from this affliction. Just to make things clear here ,read your Games box it came in.

The size of FalloutLauncher.exe? Like...6,534 kb? 6.37MB?

Alright then, I've made a folder to house all the Main and Sounds .bsa's, as well as the .esm's for the DLC's and then used 7-Zip to make an archive of the folder.

Yes, I have a 64 bit system.

Once I've deleted and reinstalled just Fallout 3, what do I do with the zipped folder of DLC's?

after reading the FAQ components and downloading and running the SecuROM remover.exe, I ran the SecuROM diagnostic tool and it says there isn't, or there is no longer SecuROM on my PC.

reboot and rerun the tools to verify it is not there.
