KCarver
I was hoping to play Skyrim over the holidays but I keep getting CTDs from Emperor's Robes and all the variants using that mesh, I am running CBBE and was able to fix the problem with other outfits by reverting to vanilla and working from there but, even the vanilla version of emperor's robes causes CTD, I've reinstalled the vanilla mesh and texture, this is the one outfit in the entire game that I can't get to work, has anyone had something similar or otherwise knows the problem? Valkyrie
Have you run LOOT? Do you have other mods installed?
KCarver
I don't run LOOT, I've a few mods and spent hours getting them in working order and I have no mod that affects the emperor's robes specifically and as I was able to get all other outfits working, I'm not sure what is causing the problem
KCarver
I have a handful of mods as well as loose files floating around, will LOOT remove anything? I have a lot of loose files I have spent hours working on and are not really replaceable
KCarver
installed and ran LOOT, ran TES5Edit as well, no change, still CTD when equipping Emperor's Robes or a variant
Valkyrie
Did you try verifying your game files thru Steam? It can do no harm really. Write down your load order and use LOOT. If its not better you can always just put your mods back in the load order you have now. Then run TES5EDIT to check for errors. If it goes all the way thru and says "finished" then your good. Again, will not hurt anything. Its just checking to make sure all your mods have any others it might be dependent on.
