Alnine
Sorry if this same issue has been posted before, I tried to look through some old posts but I wasn't having much luck finding anything. Anyway, I recently reformatted my computer and re-installed Windows 7. I backed up and restored my mods following these instructions. Not sure if they were entirely valid since they are for the 0.50 version of NMM. Re-installed NMM, and re-installed SKSE and BOSS. Followed the instructions and it seems my mods are working and my load order has been preserved - they're all listed in the plugins tab of NMM, but they're not listed in the mods tab of NMM, which means all I can do is enable/disable them rather that being able to update them, uninstall, etc I'm guessing this is a directory issue since NMM's Mods folder (C:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Mods) doesn't have any of the mod's information in it as far as I can tell. I don't think I backed up the Mods folder specifically before I reformatted my system. I also apologize in advance - I haven't played Skyrim or modded in several months and all the modding I've done has primarily been through NMM so I'm not entirely familiar with where everything is supposed to be. Mostly was just just hoping to preserve the mods I had installed awhile back even though there's not a ton (a little less than 50). Thanks for any insight on this. Valkyrie
I see mine in skyrim/mods folder and skyrim/mods/cache. Which ar both in Steam/steamApps/common
Alnine
I meant the mod tab/folder in NMM. Sorry about that, I'll edit the original post.

If you didn't back up that folder, then I guess you have no other choice but to re-download and reinstall them.

I was thinking that as well if I want to be able to manage them and it's not just an issue of them being stuck in a folder somewhere else. I should be able to download and reinstall them through NMM rather than manually without any problem right ? I'm guessing NMM would just overwrite the mods in Skyrim's data folder if I redownloaded and reinstalled so I could get the mod's info. Just hoping that it doesn't cause any conflicts/errors if I do so through NMM.
