PhoenixFirewall
For whatever reason, I am unable to get any change from my Darker Nights configuration settings At least, I had it set to 80% darker, but after playing a bit I realized it was a little to dark for me, so I tried to re-edit the settings only to get an error message. Long story short, I deactivated the mod, realized there was a patch, then reactivated it w/patch, and now although I am successfully changing the settings, no visual effect is taking place. WryeBash and OBSE are all up to date, and I'm using BOSS for all my sorting (except for Lost Spires and patches... they like being towards the bottom). Any ideas? Hickory
There is a new version with a different ini. You need the new ini.
PhoenixFirewall
I'm still running into the same problem. set ANVars.Luminance to .2set ANVars.NormalizeLuminance to 1 I'm getting a confirmation on the changes each time, but on a rainy night at 3am I can still see as if it were about 6-7pm to human eyes under the same conditions. Have I missed something?
Hickory
Do you have the latest version of Wrye Bash (287) and OBSE (0018), and did you install the new version, NOT just add the new ini?

Hickory
Ok, then I can't think what could be causing AN light levels not to kick in, unless you have another mod that is overriding them.

I determined that it was they who crashed Oblivion each time unless moved to the end of the load order. Do any of those stand out as having glaring issues that might cause no change to occur?
