VerySilentPain Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I bought a new PC but now I can't play skyrim :sad:.My whole skyrim world is glitching and bugginghere some video examples: I tried fully reinstalling the game cleaning all skyrim folders . still doesn't workAt the first time installing the game i installed some mods: 2k Texture, SkyUI,BetterWorld,A Quality World Map mabye this destroyed something i don't know. In NVIDIA Control Panel Enable "High power " Remove from adaptive.Turn off the "enable Multi Head performance mode " unless you are running multi monitor. Enable "Single Monitor performance".The NVIDIA Default settings for GTX 9xx drivers are the worst.Threaded optimization On. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bben46 Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Did you make the common mistake of installing a bunch of mods before playing through the tutorial part. The Helgen sequence is heavily scripted and adding more scripts from mods will cause strange things to happen. The actual game does not start until you exit that cave. Disable all mods until you exit the cave - what were you going to do with those mods? overpower the guards and escape? Kill the dragon? :tongue: Just go along with the story until you exit the cave - then start using mods - but use LOOT to set up a working load order when you do start with mods. Any cosmetic mods that don't have scripts will not cause problems and can be used from the beginning. Those you listed should not cause a problem that I know of - but better safe that sorry. Get the game working in vanilla and finish the Helgen/tutorial before adding mods or making any ini changes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
