Broken Steel and Uncut Problems

Hi all,

I´m having two problems with Fallout 3 and i hope you guys can help me.

 

First of all my Broken Steel won´t work. I´m not stuck in the reactor chamber of the Jefferson Memorial but after I type the code the ending sequence starts and after it I´m back in the Main-Menu like usual without the DLC. Broken Steel is installed, the Box in the Mod Manager is ticked.

 

My seckond Problem: Since I´m german, I use the german version of the Game. I wanted to make my game Uncut and downloaded a Uncut patch. After installing it it worked but all the contend of the DLCs was shown in the Red Boxes with white exlamation marks. I reinstalled the DLCs but now my game is cut again.

For all the the DLCs you need to install the latest patch, which is 1.7.

As you installed the uncut patch, you most likely installed another version than needed.

 

 

=> Get an updated version of the Uncut Patch and do the following:

1. Make shure that your game is patched to Version 1.7

2. Install the Uncut Patch for the Version 1.7

 

This should resolve the spoken problems.

 

 

For the next time I recomment to carefully inform yourself before you buy a German USK or FSK product, for example here: >>>>schnittberichte.com<<<<

 

If there is a an article saying it's cut, try to get the PEGI :thumbsup: version instead of the USK :down: one. USK games are cut even if they are stating sth like "for folks over 18 years".

 

And don't hesitate to order abroad (e.g. here or here) or to ask in your game shop. Many game shops order uncut games for you or already have them.

Ok, I got the DLC content running uncut on patch 1.7, many thanks for that.

But still my Broken Steel won´t work. I´m sure it´s loaded since I get the note at the beginning of the game and i face the Enclave soldiers with the new armor and weapon that belong to the DLC. Only the game won´t continue after the main quest.

Yes. I even started a whole new game and played the main quest to it´s end...but the same happens.

Huh, can you describe what exactly happens? Are you spawning into the citadelle and the player just can't move?

It happens as followed: I go into the Projekt Purity Chamber, I type the code, I fall to the ground, the ending-video is played, I´m back in the main menu.

Same thing when I let Sarah do it. It´s just like without Broken Steel. But as I said, i´m 100% sure it´s installed and loaded.
