DarkMajesty06 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I was reading somewhere that you needed an active internet connection whenever playing the add ones provided with the goty edition of fallout 3... So is this completely true or does it just require a connection to update, blah, blah and blah? I noticed on the box after i purchased it, it said active internet connection needed for windows live gaming.. i don't want any part of that mumbo-jumbo.. Also, if there is a internet connection needed.. is there a user made patch or mod that allows me to bypass this? Luckily, im still in the middle of Oblivion.. so I haven't opened up fallout yet, so i might be able to return it at least for in store credit.. Thanks a bunch for any help.

Im assuming this game is like oblivion.. so i searched the file data base and didnt bring anything up to bypass the windows live gaming.. so a link to the mod would be much appreciated.
