Acoran
Akkli spent the night in Pelagaid. The following day he headed for Ebonheart. He reached the small manor just as the sun reached it's peak. Walking in he meet Reca in the great hall. Reca said, "Ah, back so soon? This conferms my suspitions, your a very good man. I have a second job for you if you'd like to hear it."Akkli responded, "I'll take may payment then I'll hear your job, buit I can't say I'll take it.""Very well." Reca handed him a sack of 700 gold. "My second job is this. There have been a few ebony mines robbed resently...I'm sure you heard in Pelagaid. He spend the rest of the day wandering Ebond heart, then headed to Pelagaid where he spend the night.
Prowler03
Ghost treaded softly along the stone path. He was headed towards Pelagiad. His fathers new Inn had just been completed, and Ghost had to work there to earn his living. He had always wondered why he had been called Ghost, he didn't know his real name, but Ghost had stuck with him. He had always thought that it could have been the way that he was so quick and pacey. He had been told that when he was 3 years old, and a Guar started chasing him on his way to Balmora, and he had outrun it to the extent of it collapsing. He was always proud of that story, but wasn't sure if it was true, but his mother swore it was. He missed his mother. She had set out for Dagon Fel 7 years ago, and he never heard from her. He was determined to find her, but he didn't have the money, and his father refused to give him it. "Your mother never returned lad, I don't want the same to happen to you" At least he knew his father cared. He could now see the buildings of Pelagiad drawing nearer, and a new one standing to the south of the city. It was a tall, beautiful building, as all were in Pelagiad. He assumed it was his fathers new inn, The Amaya Arms, and as he drew forward he found that it was. For a moment he stood outside, breathing in the deep air. Then, he pushed open the sturdy wooden door and entered. There were already people inside, in fact, the pub was buzzing. Ghost saw his father behind the bar, and approached him. They talked for a while, Ghost and his father talked about the new Inn, and then his father gave him a poster. "Put that up outside will ya lad?" "Of course father," Ghost replied, "Anything to help." Ghost walked outside, and attached the poster to the signpost standing outside the Inn. It read: Workers Needed, 40 galleons a day, both sexes. Well, I guess this is my new life... I love you mum, wherever you are...
Switch
(OOC: Never named my character did I? I'll just call him Elbras Gherano :P) Elbras had just finished a contract for the local trader Ra'Virr to bring him a load of Kagouti hide. The reward was 500 gold (his starting money). He left the shop and walked down the streets of Balmora, his coffer now had a nice martial artist to it. He decided to pay a visit to Pelagiad to find his next contractor, he had heard there was a new Inn that had opened there. So he started on the trek to Pelagiad clad in his steel armour and carrying his iron claymore. He soon arrived at Pelagiad, it was a bright sunny day and his armour was starting to chafe. So he headed straight to the Inn and sat down inside, taking off his gauntlets. He headed to the bar and asked for some Shein, putting 10 gold down on the counter. He then proceeded to sit back down at the table and check out the locals who had gathered inside the Inn. Any possible contractors? He wasn't sure. wesaynothin
about half of the boxes were gone by now. Out 'vault' was almost full. I had only recieved 500 gold so far, but that was enough. If i needed more, I could just come back. Some Telvanni were hanging out with us now, as guards. Telvanni were worried that they would lose us, their most profitable smuggler group. Appearently now everyone in my group became a Retainer for the house. Boss-man became a Lawman though, because he was the leader. I could also gain ranks if I did chores, but I had no need. The telvanni were teaching me some basic spells. I can now make Fireballs and feather spells, but It drains me. I practice every day, but I'll never be as good as the Telvanni. "Hey, J'Rahza, wanna come with us to that new inn?" One of the men, a Breton, asked. I followed them up to the new Inn. "Amaya Arms" The sign said. I walked in, told the other guys not to get to drunk and rowdy, got a bottle of flin and sat down in the bar.
Acoran
The inn Akkli had stayed at was new building very clean and nice. As he came down for breakfast a young man was at the counter talking to the barkeep. Akklic ould see resemblince. He too walked to the counter. "A plate of eggs and ham please" He said putting a few gold down on the counter. Then proceded to sit at a table off to the side. When the food came he ate and it was quite good. He stuck around for a few more hours with a bottle of Matze. And as he was leaving, to go scout around the Dren PLantation, he passed a small group apparently lead by a 'rugged' looking Kaijit(I don't know how i is spelled). He headed out and walked in circles around the Plantaion, each pass moveing him farther out.
wesaynothin
I watched the man. He didn't look right. I finished up my Flin and followed him, stealthily, like a good Khajit should. I was glad I wasn't wearing anything but my greaves, or else I couldn't have gone stealthily. I followed his movements. "Stupid idiot. Probably looking for us" I mumbled to myself. I sneaked walked away, he was never going to find us by going in circles. He would have to crawl on his hand and knees for about twelve days all over the Isles to find us. When I walked back to the cave I told the Telvanni Guards. "Stupid Hlaalu assasin looking for us. Not gonna find us..... but just incase." I told them -------------------------------------
Switch
Elbras finishes up his Shein, gets up from his table and walks up to the bartender. "I don't suppose you know of any jobs that need doing around here at the moment?"
Acinonyk
OOC: looks like im getting into this a bit late, but if u remember i was gonna be a bartender, but now ill be a weapons dealer in pelagiad. character is a nord, brown hair, and has a silver dagger for defence.ill call him Yonard Greyhawk by the way, wesaynothing, dont rush your posts( im not sayingyou are rushing them), long posts are fine, and this smuggling tale your weaving is rather cool, so dont worry about lengh, say what you have to say. Yonard walked into pelagiad, lifting his hand to his brow to sheild the sun's glare, he looked about pelagiad, then noticed his shop which he had just brought. he smiled to himself, it had been a good deal, a shop, good location, with existing stock of weapons and armour, plus it had a smithy and living space in the back, it was well worth his 1500 gold. he took out his key that the former owner had given to him, and unlocked the door, it was dim in the shop, and he quickly lit some torches and lanterns to brighten it up. it was then that he noticed a letter on the front counter, it read... To Yonard Hope you have happy times with my old shop, take care of it now. there is a guard that i used to employ, Cacus, he's an imperial, retired from the legion, all he asks is 10 gold a week to keep him living confortably. he is a great guard, i highly recommend him. he has a permenant residence at a cottage on the southern side of pelagiad, seek him out if you plan on hiring him. good luck my firend hojner Yonard put down the note, and began some light tidying and dusting about the store, then he locked up and went to see this Cacus. wesaynothin
OOC: Hehe, can't help it. I have a long intricate 'plan' set up in my mind, so i try to post as much as I can to let it sort of form out, and to let people get an idea of what I am trying to do so they can come in or stay out if they want.------------------------------------------------------"Read this." Boss-man said, handing me a letter. Thurnt, Due to previous 'crackdowns' on Smuggling operations, a number of head's have contacted me in helping them create a type of unnoficial 'guild'. Due to your groups connections with Telvanni, the connections you have with the Dren's, and your sway over Ascadian smuggling, you have been invited to join as a power in the guild. If you wish to attend, the first meeting will take place in three days at the End O' the World, Dagon Fel. Gentleman Jim Stacey "Isn't he thieves guild? Why would he organize it?" I asked Boss-man. "Simple. the Thieves guild has a lot of interacion with smugglers. Not to mention, they have nothing against us. A treaty between our to groups would be profitable for both of us." He explained. "Are you going to go?" "Yes. It would be a good ide. We need some orginization." It was decided. Boss-man would head out tomorrow, and hopefully come back as a member of a smuggling guild. Until then I was in charge. I made a prayer to Sheograth and Boethiah for luck to me and Boss-man, then went to sleep.
Prowler03
Ghost turned and faced the man, "We are always on the lookout for more staff. You may have seen the sign outside?" He pointed towards sign, it could be seen through the open door. "Ghost," his father said, "what I told you to do? Do it, I'll take care of this one." and he turned and smiled and Elbras. Ghost left the inn, and saw a Khajit walking in the background, going the same direction as the customer had just left. It had looked very suspicious, the Khajit had snuck out of the Inn with his friends watching. Ghost pulled out his Steel Longsword, and wearing only his Fur Armour he started to progress towards the other two guys. After about 5 minutes of walking Ghost heard a sound, it sounded like talking. He knew he couldn't really let the Khajit out of site, but this sound was very... wierd. He looked from behind a bush, and saw a dark elf woman with a staff. She was chanting, it was like she was summoning something. It was at this moment that Ghost regretted buying such a shiny sword. The glint of the sun shone off of the sword, and the woman saw the shine, then saw him. Not good... The elf chanted words quickly, and a group of ancestral ghosts surrounded her. Ghost turned and ran. Luckily, he was first and he got a good few metres in front of the ghosts, but they were still pursuing him. He grasped his sword handle, and with a quick turn he threw it. The blade decapitated two of the ghosts, and fell to the floor. Ghost ran and ran, looked around to see where the ghosts were... and the next thing he knew he woke up in the middle of the Dren Plantation...
