Armor mod only works on one character

Hello, I come to you with a perplexing issue. The following mod is one I use when killing bandits, running around getting high bounties during god mode, and other general shenanigans.

I mainly use the Steel Cuirass or Blackwood Cuirass, as it's the only one that looks like legitimate armor with this mod while still being fun to use. However, today it stopped working; I keep getting the original Steel Cuirass/Blackwood Cuirass instead of the modified one. When I checked my other characters to see if it was just the one I was on, I found that ONE out of four still had the modified armor. I have tried enchanting it, making a new one in another makeshift mod, replacing the meshes and textures entirely, and even turning off all mods and turning them back on one by one (which was a hassle with over 200 mods). What can I do to fix this?

This is going to depend very heavily on the mods you use. Replaces like the one you indicated typically replace stock items, but chances are the armor you are seeing that is not done by this mod is not actualy vanilla, but from yet another mod. It gets complicated.

 

Probably the best way to get to the bottom of it is with something like FormIDfinder that will tell you which mod the armor is coming from. But, it is not perfect. In the end, this will probably depend on load order, and the mods you use.

Odd, it was telling me that the armor I used was from another mod, when it's just vanilla armor using the remade textures.

 

Oddly as well, after downloading that FormID finder, adding the cuirasses to my inventory through codes worked, but the ones I had prior to downloading it do not work. I have two separate Steel Cuirasses, both which stack due to being 100% hp and the same item, but one has the exposed parts.
