devinpatterson
Will the tubes hook up to anything or just be dangling?
Manus812
The tubes can be omitted, the important part is the canister parts
ArekkusuStorm
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but you want just this? Or did you want anything else? What it was Edited January 1, 2015 by ArekkusuStorm
Manus812
YES! like that, the second pick just remove the tubes, the valve and horizontal tube can stay.
ArekkusuStorm
Alright, but I should mention that the horizontal tube doesn't connect to anything and neither does the valve (it's literally a valve attached to a cylinder floating in mid air.). Edit: Personally, I think it's a bit small but if it's perfect for you I'll put down a download link. The valve doesn't look very noticeable in the pics. Regarding the floatiness of the horizontal tube, I bet you could subdivide the ends of the tube and have them plug right into the canister without much texture stretching at all. Although the OP sounds pretty happy with it as is.
ArekkusuStorm
Yeah, if it were up to me, I would have done this: since it makes the most sense. (not from a functional standpoint) I only put the bar at the bottom because there wouldn't be enough space if I kept it up top. Edit: Dear lord the typos. The canisters might make a good match with the rangers gas masks. I'm guessing there's is just filtration (I mean I hope the LAPD didn't think it need full biological/chemical protection from fellow americans, if so, then the food riots and other challenges of the time must have gotten pretty bad). But since the NCR also makes patrol armor and repairs the lapd riot armor (implying it can modify it), I'd guess they could add a separate O2 supply or re-breather with O2 supplementation. Probably come in handy in a world where biological/chemical/radiological threats abound. Plus it gives me a bit of extra trappings for some ranger. Sorry off on a tangent, thinking out loud.
