cannot enter tranquility lane

so the story is, when i sit on the tranquility lounger in vault 112 the top comes down like normal and the screen goes white, then the white fades and i'm just staring at the tv in the lounger.

 

i cant move or get out and the game wont start the tranquility lane section

i've tried turning off the FNN.esm and esp in case the game thought i was sleeping, there was no change

 

so yeah, any help is appreciated

i dont want to have to turn all the mods off to start this one part of the story

 

Some have reported that the player using a custom race has caused troubles - make sure the custom race has a 'younger race' setting or just change yourself to a vanilla race.

 

And you are wearing your vault 112 suit when you get in the pod, right?

If you are using a custom race, I can recommend this mod, which "fixes" it, without having to change your race, which can muck with your stats.

what does the fellout-pipboylight.esp do?

If the problem isn't the custom race then this might be the problem.

When you go to the tranquility quest the script takes away the pipboy and replaces it with the watch.

There can be a script in the pipboylight mod that doesn't allow it to replace it and then not let you get into the quest.

Don't know if you have tried it without that mod and what exactly it does but it could be conflicting with the quest.
