DandenYas
Howdy, I’m experiencing an interesting issue with Skyrim but before I get into it I would like to confirm that I have cleaned my files with TES5EDIT, ran LOOT and made a bashed patch with Wrye Bash. The issue I have is that textures, rugs, hair and face textures seem to go completely black and it gets progressively worse as time goes on. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern as to which textures are affected and seem to change as I load new areas (Hopping between shops or taverns). For the first while the textures come back when changing areas but it does get worse the longer I play to the point of almost everything going black. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, please find the load order in the spoiler below. --**--Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmUnofficial Skyrim Patch.espDawnguard.esmUnofficial Dawnguard Patch.espHearthFires.esmUnofficial Hearthfire Patch.espDragonborn.esmUnofficial Dragonborn Patch.espFalskaar.esmWyrmstooth.espApachiiHair.esmClimatesOfTamriel.esmmoonpath.esmLanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esmHighResTexturePack01.espHighResTexturePack02.espHighResTexturePack03.espUnofficial High Resolution Patch.espDragonBoneWeaponsComplete.espiHUD.espClimatesOfTamriel-Nights-Level-5.espChesko_WearableLantern.espClimatesOfTamriel-Dungeons-Hazardous.espBlacksmithforge water fix HF.espConvenient Horses.espGrassOnSteroids_Short.esp360WalkandRunPlus-RunBackwardSpeedAdjust.espClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.espDifferently Ebony.espSkyCompleteLegendary.espSplashofRain.espDragon Knowledge Spell.espEnhancedLightsandFX.espGuard Dialogue Overhaul.espFollowerCompatibility.espSkyCompleteDragonborn.espBeards.espUFO - Dawnguard AddOn.espHothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.espLocational Damage.espRaceMenu.espRaceMenuPlugin.espWeapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.espAOS.espFireAndIceOverhaul.espDeadlySpellImpacts.esp3DNPC.espFCO - Follower Commentary Overhaul.espAOS2_FIO Patch.espAOS2_DSI Patch.espAOS2_CoT3_1_patch.espClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.espClothing & Clutter Fixes.espComplete Crafting Overhaul_Remade.espRealisticNeedsandDiseases.espPurewaters.espRND_PureWaters-Patch.espFalskaarRNDPatch.espPurewaters-Falskaar.espRND_USKP-Patch.espRND_Dawnguard-Patch.espBook Covers Skyrim.espImmersive Sounds - Compendium.espISCompendium AOS Patch.espRND_Dragonborn-Patch.espSkyComplete3DNPC.espSkyCompleteDawnguard.espSkyCompleteFalskaar.espSkyUI.espLessIntrusiveHUD.espSkyrim Immersive Creatures.espRealShelter.espRSPatch.espCloaks - Dawnguard.espBlacksmithforge water fix DG.espGloriousEnviroments.espOBIS.espImmersive Weapons.espOBISDB.espOBISDB-FaceMasksFix.espBirdsofskyrim.espSkyrim Immersive Creatures - DLC2.espTheEvilMansionFE.espUFO - Dragonborn AddOn.espUnreadBooksGlow.espVivid Landscapes.espWeaponsArmorFixes_ImmersiveWeapons_Patch.espaMidianBorn_ContentAddon.espImproved Closefaced Helmets_Legendary.espAMB Glass Variants Lore.espHothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.espInconsequential NPCs.espCloaks.esp1nivWICCloaks.espUFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.espUFO - Heartfire AddOn.esp1nivWICSkyCloaksPatch.espHigherLevelEnemies.espInigo.espSMIM-Merged-All.espInconsequential NPCs - Enhancement.espaMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.espAOS2_GDO Patch.espWetandCold.espAOS2_WetandCold Patch.espWetandCold - Ashes.espmoonpath_questdata.espAdalMatar.espImmersive Patrols II.espHothFollower.espHothFollower UFO Patch.espThe Asteria - Dwemer Airship.espChesko_Frostfall.espRND_HearthFires-Patch.espRND_AnimalLoot.espELFX - Moonpath.espCompanionArissa.espPerkusMaximus_Master.espDeadlyDragons.espBlacksmithforge water fix DB.espPerkusMaximus_Thief.espBCS - PERMA Patch EN.espPerMa Expansion 1 - Wintermyst.espPerkusMaximus_Mage.espPerkusMaximus_Warrior.espDuel - Combat Realism.espCloaks - USKP Patch.espBlacksmithforge water fix Vanilla.espFNISspells.espDead Body Collision.espInto the Deep.espRabbitHole.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main.espdD-DG-DB-Immersive Creatures EBT Patch.espdD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.espdD-Reduced Wound Size.espAOS2_EBT Patch.espISCompendium Enhanced Blood Patch.espBashed Patch, 0.espw
camaro_69_327
Post your System specs...include amount of VRAM on the gpu. Textures going randomly black is a sign of Texture overload. When the GPU is full Skyrim ramdomly decides what textures to NOT load , those go blank/black. Download SPM (Skyrim Performance Monitor) Run that while playing till things start going Black...post the graph... Also..Post what texture only mods you are loading, as thos wont show in a load order. I will Bet...IF you disable these the problem goes away... DandenYas
I'm having issues with getting Skyrim Performance Monitor to work with Mod Organizer to load my mods. All I get is a vanilla version when I try. Edit: I fixed the monitor I have the results. http://i.imgur.com/U3blFM0.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/U3blFM0.jpg It seems indeed that my mods are too large for my graphic card and when it lags for a solid five seconds it's dumping some textures to keep the game going. My question is what mods should I take off and keep the game looking okay? My spec's can be found here: Operating System Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bitCPU AMD Phenom II X6 1050T Thuban 45nm TechnologyRAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC. camaro_69_327
As you see..that graph shows it all...the texture load is thru the roof... Start by getting the "Optimized" versions of the 3 HR'DLC's. Then start removing texture mods, always get the lower versions of all texture replacers. You are seriously limited with a 1 GB video card..sorry. You may need to remove all texture replacers, get a base line on how the vanilla game is as far as texture load goes, then keep an eye on the graphs as you add mods, stop when you get near the top! Leave some headroom as when you meet a bunch of bad guys and start fighting the load will increase. I learned a LOT when i had my 560ti, it was the reason i got a pair of 580's with 3GB of VRAM ... The Vanilla game with only the 3 HR-DLC's load in at 1291.95...so more then a 1 GB card has... Don't forget to "Endorse" SPM it will help you in the process of finding your limit! EDIT: to add.....Check the TEMP on the GPU...81c is not HOT but its gettin warm, fan must be ramping up big time while you play.. IF you want to see how much "Over" the GPU is , download "Process Explorer" (free from Microsoft) and on the GPU tab it will show you the amount of "dynamic" System RAM in is use while you play. its the bottom Graph and only fills up IF you are going over the limit of your GPU. Fantastic program, i always have it running. EDIT 2: post new graphs as you get this narrowed down...interested in what it takes to get you a bit under the line...:) Edited December 31, 2014 by camaro_69_327

DandenYas
There are still some issues around some places and it does seem to happen after a few hours of play. It's something I can work with I don't really fancy cutting anything else I'll play with it for now and decide later.
