Succubi race, need resources

I am looking forward to begin my "first" mod, I have already done lots of modding for other games and have been modding Oblivion to my own satisfaction, but this will be the first I would want to release, so the idea of this mod is to create a playable character race, I had thought that it would be cool to make a succubi, preferably one that resembles a cross between a man/woman and a goat, if anybody knows any mod or any hairstyle for Oblivion that includes Goat ears, horns and preferable antropomorphic beast/goat legs, then please post it here, any suggestions and opinions are appreciated, who ever volunteers to help, play test, make screenshots, or anything else is welcome, anybody who wants to be my friend and just have a chat is also welcome :P

This actually seems kind of hard. Just a little feedback for your idea.

The problem with goat legs is that they would look weird arranged like human legs, so you would need to reverse the joints.

Secondly, the amount of conflicts this would cause is unimaginable.

Sounds more like just a satyr/faun than a succubus (note -- "succubus" is singular and "succubi" is plural). There really is no problem with "reversing" the joints, as DrunkenGamer suggested. Digitigrade and unguligrade legs follow exactly the same general plan as plantigrade (like human) legs. There is no reversal of joints at all. All the joints are in the same place and all of them bend in the same direction, regardless of leg conformation. The only difference is in the length of the individual bones. Study the skeletal anatomy of various digitigrade/unguligrade species (you can find plenty of pictures on the Internet using Google) and you'll see what I mean. This would probably, however, require a custom walking animation, since these characters have to walk on their toes, rather than settle the "heel" down on the ground like you see with other races (even including the Kajiiti and Argonians).

I, for one, would welcome seeing a playable satyr or faun, and I could live with a succubus/incubus ("incubus"/"incubi" is the male equivalent of "succubus"/"succubi") even if that character had to subsist upon the life-force of mortals like a traditional succubus/incubus must. I know it wouldn't be lore friendly, but, heck ... Bethesda introduced Minotaurs into the game and they're from Greek mythology, too, so I say go for it. If you do a completely custom mesh and texture maybe you could build the horns and ears into the head mesh, rather than have them as wearable items or "hair". I honestly don't know how that works, though, since I'm not a mesh-builder.

Thanks for your feedback, I know how to implement the horns to be racial, fixed to the head, not part of any clothing item or hair, but the problem with that is, all the characters of that race will have that kind of horns, but I am planning on adding different ones as soon as I figure out how to import them into Oblivion xD, because making the textures is no challenge for me, models perhaps, but what is most complicated is to later make my models work, because I have several times made models that I had to ask to be put into the game for me because I couldn´t figure it out. As for the lore, I do not aim to make this lore friendly or anything, I do this for myself at the first place, and I always wanted a sort of a demonic character that resembles a cross between a satyr and a sucubus, but stylized a little bit my own way.

Cool ... what sort of racial abilities were you planning for this new race? I'm sure you know a succubus/incubus feeds off the life-force of mortals, visited while they sleep for ... um ... extracurricular activity that would, if you fully recreate it, result in your mod having an adult rating. Even if you treat it more like vampire feeding, though, it would be an interesting downside. If the character doesn't feed frequently enough s/he'll begin to lose attribute points and eventually die.

^ This mod has a werewolf race with some bestial looking legs on it. Many werewolf mods do; I'm not sure who owns the origina meshes, so you'd have to do some research to figure out who to ask for permission. This might be a good start for your goat legs, although you'd have to mix-up the mesh to make hooves.

Horns

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19172 (may be part of the armor, but has curled goat-like horns)

Legs/Hooves

Ears

May also want to search some Japanese/Korean/Chinese sites for additional ear options. Look for elf-type races.

Of course I haven't checked everybody's permissions on these, so I don't know if you'd be allowed to use them, but it's a starting point.
