I've been trying to mod my Fallout 3, as I have done on my previous computer. Don't know much about stuff behind it, but I watched all the Gopher vids and read the necessary info.I did everything in this guide http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=149946772 The 4 GB upgrade, NVSE, fake screen mod... all of the stuff written there is covered. Using Nexus Mod Manager (and manually install stuff as by Gopher if recommended), LOOT for doing the load order, FO3Edit for figuring out errors and making a merged patch.So I started my game, everything seemed to work fine. In the Vault 101 tutorial I saw Project Beauty work, Director's Chair, Iron Sights, Immersive HUD, stuff from FWE was there, MMM had the options in the Pip Boy, Arefu Expanded quest started... but already in the Vault there were invisible (and untargetable in VATS) radroaches. But otherwise everything seemed great. There was no conflict detected by FO3Edit after all. And when I was about to get out of the Vault into the wasteland, the game just crashed. Sometimes it loaded and crashed then, most of the time it crashed on the loading screen. I have a lot going at work etc. and don't have days to study what went wrong and making it work. But I already put a lot of time in it and I certainly wish to play the modded game. Don't want to reinstall either, because then I'd have to watch all of those long vids and read all of that stuff again and it seemed to be working fine in the Vault, so maybe it can be easily fixed. Can anyone give me some advice here? For Fallout3, you should use BOSS: http://boss-developers.github.io/ If you do not wish to change, please, go to the FWE Mod page and scroll down the page to see the load order put up by the mod author. That is the way the mods should be installed. Compatability patches must always load after the last mod they are patching. Yours are not in the right places. If you saw that there were no conflicts when you used FO3Edit, you did not use it properly. Please see the FO3Edit Training Manual: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/8629/?
