ShadowObscura
Well, this is depressing. Now when I load a save in Anchorage without any mods active, it still stutters and the framerate tanks. It worked the first time, but apparently it doesn't anymore. I tried making a clean save, then loading it again with my mods active, but it didn't help at all. And my FPS counter is lying to me for some reason. The number stays between 40-50 even though the game is constantly stuttering at a much lower framerate.
FiftyTifty
The stuttering may be because the framerate is jittering between that value. Try limiting the game to 35 fps through RadeonPro.
ShadowObscura
Okay, I reloaded an old save from before I entered the simulation. I'm playing through it a second time with the tweaks you've suggested, including limiting the framerate to 35. The game is running much better now. I set the game to run as administrator and now I have a much smoother framerate with little to no stuttering. I still don't know exactly what the problem was before, but everything seems to be fine now so I won't fiddle with anything else. I'll post again if I have any other problems. Thank you for all your help.
FiftyTifty
Welcome to Gamebryo. Frustrating gamers since 2002. I forgot to mention; if you enable fps_management in your stutter remover .ini, you can enable inject_ifpsclamp as well as limit your framerate. I find that setting the maximum_fps value to 30 works just fine, and is as smooth as 40-45 fps without ifpsclamp. That removes the need for RadeonPro's framecap, so you can disable that feature in RadeonPro.
DonnieBrasco453
Kind of a bit late post, but i am having the same issue as the OP. For some reason it is just Operation Anchorage where i am having issues; the rest of my game runs fine on Ultra settings. But for some reason OA has a very serious stuttering issue where it is near unplayable. the frame rate itself is fine, its just stuttering like crazy as if i was lagging in an online game or something... ive tried using MSI Afterburner to limit my FPS to 30 but the problem is still there =[ I even tried dropping my settings to the lowest graphics option and yet it still stutters like crazy. Anyone have any tips or advice on how to fix this issue?
