help adding a ring to the game

I have no clue how to add items yet I jutst got morrowind a week ago and I am curious how to add an item to the game so I can use it.

Now, if I misunderstood the question and you want to make a new ring.... Rename an existing ring, then click save. It'll ask you if you want to make a new item since the name has changed. (this keeps the model, etc the same). Then go to enchantments, add a new enchantment with the effects you want to put on it. Then back at the ring itself, select your new enchantment. Then find a convenient cell to place it in, and drag the ring into the world. Now save the file, then from the morowind launcher, enable the plugin. Congratulations, you've made your first mod.
