DirTek Posted October 2, 2010 Share Posted October 2, 2010 Hi there, After a long while I decided to wipe the dust from my Oblivion disc and reinstall it. Last time I had it installed my net was wireless, so the internet speed was very slow. Now it's way better and I decided to download all the overhauls and run them. The problems started when I also installed some mods that were adding shaders. The bodies (races, animals) were turning green as soon as they died. I thought it was from those mods, so I decided to make a clean reinstall. Everything was great until I noticed the problems: - Some bodies still go green when they die. Races however are not affected anymore. Mostly the problem is with wolves and rats. - Another problem is that some wolves are invisible (not affected by any spell). - An annoying problem is also the one with FranNewItems.bsa. I chose to add itself to Oblivion.ini, added it myself and even took the steps of using a blank Oblivion.esp and renaming the bsa to Oblivion - FranNewItems.bsa. Still, the meshes are still missing for the weapons. - The most annoying problem started when I was exploring Elsweyr. A blank inventory keeps popping up and as soon as I close it, it pops up again. The only thing I can do to avoid it is to save the game and reload it. That way it keeps off my back for a few minutes, after it starts appearing again. Hickory Posted October 2, 2010 Share Posted October 2, 2010 All thos mods and no Bashed Patch? It's a wonder you don't get worse problems than missing meshes. Also, if you use Oblivion.esp as a bsa redirection hack, you should NOT place the name of the bsa in oblivion.ini. Regarding the shaders, try reverting to the default shaders: Official Oblivion Shaders Edit: Also, looking at your list, your BOSS masterlist needs to be updated. DirTek Posted October 2, 2010 Author Share Posted October 2, 2010 I tried checking the bashed patch (I did all the steps in patching everything) but the game won't start. Also after the problem with the shaders I did a clean reinstall. And I already used BOSS but it was positioning the Oblivion.esm wrong, even some of the mods.
