Mod(s) that don't show-up in FOMM load order list?

My first Thread! Relatively newb to modding. Followed the 4-part video tutorial on the FWE page (million thanks Andrew!), recently installing: FOMM, FOSE, FOedit, FOIP, FWE, Darn UI, MMM, EVE, Project Beauty, weaponmodkits (all of which are recommended for use w/ FWE), and a few additional ones: RobCo Certified, Wasteland Whisper and 50's Pin-up Posters. With all of these, I extracted the contents of the zips into the "Fallout Mods" folder I created -> Launched FOMM -> Opened Package Manager -> Selected 'Create from folder' (except Darn UI which was already a Fomod) -> Activated. No problem. All appear in the FOMM (where you manipulate the load order) except 50's Pin-up Posters (found here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1060).

I'm wondering why all the other mods show-up, but not the "50's Pin-up Posters" mod? No matter what I try, I can't get it to appear. Think I need to be able to control it's load order in relation to the others, but maybe not?. Despite it not appearing, the mod seems to work perfectly fine in the game, I'm just concerned a may cause a conflict I won't be aware of initially.

Sorry if this is a stupid question/posted before, I've tried to figure it out. Appreciate any thoughts or help, thanks!

50s Pinup Posters is just a texture replacer for the vanilla game posters so it doesn't have an esp and won't appear in your load order. You're good :)

Cool. Appreciate the response. Is this the case for all texture replacer mods, such as NMCs_Texture_Pack_for_FO3 (http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12056), Enhanced Blood Textures v2_1b (http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=101), etc, or just the 50's Pin-up Posters mod in particular?

Likewise, is this the case with all other mods that don't have an .esp file, that is to say, that they also won't appear in the load order in FOMM?

I have a fairly sweet rig with 2 Nvidia GTX 285 (2 gig RAM each) GPUs running in SLI mode, and wouldn't mind throwing some texture-enhancing mods into the mix...

Anything that only replaces textures or meshes generally won't have an esp or esm and won't appear in your load order. There are a few exceptions; (BlackBlossom's ghoul textures for Type 3 body has an esp) but most are simple replacers. NMC's texture pack has no esp (and it looks amazing so load it up). You might want to check out Obsidianstag's pre war and skill book replacers too. They're really nice.

For texture replaces its best to read the read me included for any extra information regarding installation. Usually it is the case that you just have to copy over the textures to your textures folder. However for best results on the enhanced blood it requires editing your fallout.ini and it has .esp files with it. These are optional but are required for larger wounds, rather than not using one which results in the default size.

So yeah just check the readme and if it doesn't say any different, just copy over the textures and you should be fine.

Thanks again for the info and recommendations. I installed NMC's texture pack and Obsidianstag's pre war and skill book replacers. Very nice!

OK, 2 more questions, one stupid, one not so much:

#1. When in game and I access the Pip-boy, it's "skin" (not screen) looks terribly low-res. I've tried downloading and installing several (like 4 or 5) Pip-boy retextures, but I can't get any of them to work. What's the deal there? I get the message that the mod's been successfully activated, but nothing. Figured there must be a conflict, so went through systematically deactivating different mods to see where the conflict might lie...

...and in the process of doing that, I...

#2. ...accidentally deleted the Mothership Zeta.esm from FOMM (where you manipulate the load order of your mods). I've tried everything I know to get it back in there. I even uninstalled FOMM, reinstalled, and when it launches, the Zeta.esm is still missing. How do I get it back in there? Also, when I go into the Fallout Launcher and into "Data Files", it's missing from there as well. The "Zeta-Main" and "Zeta-Sounds" FoMods are still in the Fallout Data Folder...

Thanks in advance for the help!

For the Pip-Boy replacer, if you play using a controller you won't see the retex unless you change the filepath of the download. I don't remember the exact path, but you need to rename the "pc" part of the retextures texture folder to "xbox". If you're playing with mouse/keyboard, check to make sure the textures aren't hiding inside an extra data folder (Fallout 3\Data\Data).

As for Zeta, check your Recycle Bin. If you've already emptied it, you'll have to reinstall Zeta from your game disc.
