alhazred
I have bash installed. I cant seem to figure out how to filter the googly eyes. Know of a link that explains this? WryeBash help page should be enough. (?) icon hidden at the bottom of the interface. Anyways, you want to include "Race Records" in your bashed patch. That will attempt to fix the eyes. joshtehgame
when I click mark mergeable I get a message like this- Not Mergeable• DesuChan's Dolls.esp: Unsupported types: DIAL, GMST. New record(s) in block(s): EYES, GLOB, HAIR, RACE, SPEL It does this for a lot of mods I have
Hickory
That means that the mod itself is not mergable, ie. it cannot be merged entirely and then disabled. You can still have your Bashed Patch include elements from the mod by including them in the Bash Tags window of the mod -- BOSS is the easiest way to do this. In the main menu of Wrye Bash, right click on the Bash Tags window (bottom right) and select 'Automatic'. Now run BOSS and Wrye Bash will automaticall read the BOSS suggestions. You should now rebuild your patch and go through the features to include any mods you have installed, and do not forget to check 'Race Records'. joshtehgame
I'm in the process of reinstalling everything on a different place on my hard drive. I think windows vista is preventing the mod programs from working right. If you install on the default settings (program files) the security level is high. I'm about half way done and I can all ready tell a huge difference. Thanks again for the help
joshtehgame
reinstalling helped a huge deal. Maybe I'm just a complete moron but I cant figure out this bash patch thing. I've learned how to tag the mods and mark mergeable and I click on the races and click build patch. It just dosen't seem to be doing anything. Hickory
If you use BOSS, and set Wrye Bash's Bash Tags window (bottom right) to Automatic, you won't have to tag the mods manually, as Wrye Bash will use the suggestions from BOSS. And with the newest version of Wrye Bash you do not need to mark anything mergable by hand, it's done automagically. Regarding actually building your patch, first of all you have to ensure that you have placed a copy of 'Bashed Patch, 0.esp' from your \Oblivion\Mopy\Extras\ folder into your \Oblivion\Data\ folder. Once you have done that, right click on the Bashed Patch, 0.esp and select 'Rebuild Patch...' In the update window that pops up, go through the options on the left taking particular care to check off:(in the following sections, also check off any of your mods that are present AND installed in the right window)Merge PatchesImport ...xxxCobl Catalogs <-- IF YOU USE COBLContents CheckerLeveled ListsRace Records For the other sections, there are tips when you mouse over to let you know what they do.
