so first off id like to say that prior to making this i have spent every day since new years to try and fix this issue. the issue at hand is that when loading from the main menu into my save no matter what way i load it, either continue or load game options, it take upwards of 15 minutes to load. this is beyond aggravating seeing as ive been modding from the begging and have taken All necessary precautions including, bash patches, merger patches, clean installs, clean saves, new games, compatibility patches, memory fixes, clean masters and esp's, and finally knowing and installing ALL requirements for said mods. no i have my game using roughly 1gb for block one and 768Mb for block 2 and the load is ridiculous. i use a samsung 840 evo running rapid mode, i7 4790k at 5ghz, two gtx 980's in SLI and 30 gb of ram. there is no excuse for a game to take anything but 30 seconds to load especially a single player game. i have also noticed that the game does not appear to actually do anything until about 10 minutes into loading. my task manager reports the game as using 500k, if that, in memory and stays at 12-15 cpu with little to no hd usage at all until the 10 minute mark. i have used clean save utilities and all saves are clean and cannot be reduced in size the main save in question is 287mb in size. i can make a new game and load in less the 8 seconds if that.i am using loot to sort and remaking bash patches every time the load order is changed. the most the game will use in terms of ram is 1 1/2gb at most. that is while running. if anyone has any idea on how to fix this crap please my god help me.

Well it is very apparent that you have a corrupt archive, mod conflict or have done something that has created game save bloat in a major way.

My character has hit level 79 and my typical .ess is 20 Mb. this character has done Main quest and Dawnguard.

I'm very careful about what I add as the character matures, and never remove except to upgrade or replace archives as they become corrupted.

I have a very stable base mod list that I'm very picky as far as what I keep, and having the ability to backtrack easily if I have a screwed up mod.

I have 225 mods in currently, and don't use any LOOT or BOSS sorting just moving stuff as needed, and none of the other crap that you are referring to as other than Sheson's patch, and ENB Boost, and Safety Load. The biggest issue that I seem to have is archive corruption, over time based on usage this slowly happens. Because you never defrag an SSD they have a "garbage collection" algorithm that does this. I'm able to game for hours without issues and stream to Twitch.tv or YouTube at max rate.

thank you for your response. i originally hit the mod ceiling and decided to lower it drastically. if a corrupt archive is whats causing this and save bloat might be a culprit what are my options? what exactly can be done aside from starting a new game? i too stream and its a pain for my viewers to have to sit through 15-20 minute load screens for game play yknow?

We need to locate the root cause.

Look back in your saves, and index when the save size went hairy.

Sort your mods by date of install, remove everything since that date, and test them.

Create a new character and test it.

I'm personally not fond of Arthmor's Alternate start.. Have had broken quest lines attributable to this mod.

I personally use RAS... and it is because of the truly random aspect location wise that seems to create a more stable game.

okay so there no real way to index the saves as i have a tendency to override saves in order to save space and i dont have autosave. as for the date of install for the various mods they were all installed at the same time or with a span of 3 days so thatll be hard to sort if at all possible. i have uninstalled alternate start in favor of RAS and will make a new char. i have found that i can load a new char and play on them with reasonable load times off the bat the last time this happend it was with a char that was level 15. this one is 31 so its kinda a pain to have to make a new one. i clean my save of any rouge scripts aswell as invalid ones through skse. any other ideas?

Well it sounds like you figured out that by doing the overwrite it sets you up for this type of issue. I use an Autosave that also does time scales if you need or want to do this.

I also have numbered saves that makes clean-up and/or archiving possible. I'm able to typically go back a number of characters and replay if needed or wanted.

It is hard to find an autosaver that does not have save corruption issues from using a broadcast encoder. You may find one that is better based on your application.

I personally use Kuertee Auto-Save and time and never have save corruption issues: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13239/? you can tweak the frequency, the events, and the number retained. I tested a number of the more popular ones, and this ended up being the most reliable in my application. Not sure what broadcast encoder you are using.. You may find another AutoSave that is better I'm using OBS 64 bit and have had good luck with Kuertee.

Your ENB set-up is important also, the wrapper, or injector versions have different dynamics but they can also be a source of issues.

crimson tide - blood.esp

\

For one it is actually on a blacklist, (See section 4 D:)...go to the Download page for Crimson and start reading on the posts tab.....Bet you remove it.

I use Enhanced Blood and do not have crashes...

Download SPM ( Skyrim Performance Monitor ) run that while playing,,,i really wannna see how your RIG does with Skyrim!!...

A 287mb Save??...Holly crap. Not thinking that is going to be savable. Have you tried BOTH save cleaners? Will look at the rest of your mod list later as its dinner time now..

Do you have the SKSE.ini ..with "clear invalids?"

EDIT...Run LOOT ..follow and act on what LOOT tells you. a few mods are outdated or need removing.
