LHammonds Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 But Sketchup can just export .dae files o_O What's the point of doing all that since Sketchup can already export .dae files?Scenario: Joe User (who knows how to use Blender), browses the Google 3D warehouse.Joe User finds a cool model and downloads it.Joe User does not have SketchUp installed...but can extract the DAE and import into Blender without messing with SketchUp.
