Modelers Requested for Large Project

Hello,

I am requesting a modeler to make a variety of buildings all similar in style and I need quite a bit of them. Probably as many as you can pump out really, but they still have to be decent quality. I also need custom walls, towers, gates, and a castle. I may also need other models as well and will post anything I need. Anyone who participates will be credited without a doubt.

I am making a mod where you build a city-state from ground up in a fully interactive city that is very large (It may only work with better quality computers).

You will be able to:

  • manage your income and expenses
  • Conduct Diplomacy with the various provinces of Tamriel and other small city-states
  • Build an army and attack other city-states as well as other provinces (You proably won't be able to travel to the entire province, just a few cities as battlegrounds if you choose to partake in the battles)
  • Build a city garrison to defend yourself from other city-states, provinces, and occasional pirate raid
  • Build a Navy to get your forces to and from the battleground and defend your trading vessels from occasional pirates
  • upgrades for the various parts of the city (ex. you have a bustling market district you invested a lot of money in, but you neglected to invest much into your residential area which now looks similar to Bravil)
  • And other various features that I can't remember off the top of my head...

Here are some pics of how I want the mid to higher class buildings to look...

Here's kind of what I want the castle to look like...

Whoa, slow down there. You are asking for a whole lot. Not saying no one will do it, but this is your first post and most big projects die without any progress. I don't want to discourage you, cause your ideas are nice, but don't be surprised if no one takes your request. I don't know if you are a skilled modder of Oblivion or not, but here is a hint: start small.

I made the same thing for Morrowind a long time ago, but had to scrap it when I was almost done cuz I realized my mod conflicted with the bloodmoon expansion (oops) about 4 months into it. Half of solsteim was missing and I realized I saved it over the Morrowind esm too file which is kind of bad... Needless to say I had to reinstall it lol.

I know it's my first post because I never even looked at the forums before until yesterday :P

I am currently enrolled at Ferris State University for Digital Animation and Game Design and will be getting my degree in about 3 years. I also took a year of 3d animation and game design before hand as well, so I'm no stranger to 3ds max. I've been messing around with the TES Construction set for quite some time but have never posted anything cuz I didn't have internet for a very long time so all my mods I made for myself. Sadly my computer has been wiped 3 or 4 times since I got morrowind years ago or oblivion, so all of my mods disappeared. :(

Sorry, it kind of sounds like a s*** ton of excuses lol. But trust me. I know my way around CS fairly well.

Most of the time people waltz in here with no experience and announce a huge project that goes nowhere, but it looks like you know what you are doing. If you need to make a lot of buildings, I would recommend Google Sketchup, as you can make simple things very quickly and add details in another program. I would like to help, since I enjoy making buildings in Google Sketchup, but I usually end up not finishing the projects I start.
