Dasanathwhite
Hi everybody, I tried to install mods recently by using FOMM. I patched my game to 1.7, I got every add-on except Mothership Zeta, and I followed every step mentionned in a guide made by Acannova ( ) But every time I try to 'activate' a mod, it says this : A problem occured during install:Method not found: 'Boolean System.Threading.WaitHandle.WaitOne(Int32)'.The mod was not installed. If you wanna see step by step what I've done, you can just take a look at the Acannova videos. I get the error just at the beginning of part 3 (Guide splited in 4 parts). I have done ''exactly'' the same thing the guide author has done, but without success. Here are the mods I extracted with the package manager in FOMM :-A Trails of Crumbs-Darkness-Dogmeat Leather Armor-DarNified UI F3 Alpha-EVE Operation Anchorage-EVE Beta main-EVE Cool update-FOIP EVE and FWE Marts Mutant mod and FWE Project Beauty and FWE Weapon Mod Kit and FWE-FO3 Wanderers Edition (6.03 HOTFIX)-Gifts4Kids-GNRfix-Improved Dogmeat Lite-Jury Street-Martigen's Mutant mod-RIL (Realistic Interior Lighting)-Project beauty standard version-Weapon Mod Kits-WEP Pack 1 (Wasteland Expansion Project) The mods written in italic are those used in the guide, and said to be very popular.I thought that by using this guide, I would be okay, but now I don't know what's wrong. Thanks for giving me a hand!Dasanath
bethjunkie
A search reveals that error means you need to update your .NET framework through Windows Update.
Dasanathwhite
I installed the recent version, .NET Framework 4. I still get the same error message.
bethjunkie
Try installing a different version of FOMM. If you're using 12.6 right now, try installing 12.5.
Dasanathwhite
Okay, so I installed version 12.5 instead of 12.6.Unfortunately...it works ! Since I was able to use all the other options in FOMM, I should be okay now. Thanks a lot for helping me Bethjunkie. It was really appreciated ! Maelethras
I'm just curious, will the load order save between uninstalling the newer version and be available upon finished installation of the older?
bethjunkie
I'm just curious, will the load order save between uninstalling the newer version and be available upon finished installation of the older? It should but to be safe, hit the Load Order button from the top toolbar and Export it to save a copy of your load order in case you need to move things back around. Edit: I believe the problem that the OP was experiencing has been solved in recent versions of FOMM so you might want to consider updating to a newer version. Maelethras
Superb. I'll try updating to the FO3+New Vegas one and see if it works. Edit: Indeed, now it loaded up past the 'Please Stand By'-slide, then crashes :) Im using the same mods as in the video Dasanathwhite linked. From the top of my head, and foremost in the fomm, the .esm for EVE seems to be new, and most of the mods displayed in the video has since been updated. I followed the recommended load order as shown in the description for the FOIP, though something (probably me) messes up. Edit 2: Alright, I solved it. Seems I didn.t have all of the DarnUI stuff. Thanks for your time, bethjunkie! Now, to try these babies out... Edited December 11, 2010 by Maelethras
