Empyrean42
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61332/ when I search for warpaint mods mine is not listed unless I uncheck the adult search filter. I have no adult content displayed or listed and n no tags set for any such thing. How can I resolve this? Thank you for your time.
DoctorKaizeld
okay i already did it, but to get rid of double posts use the Report button at the bottom left and type double post. admins will get to in their own time. aside from that i'm not sure how to fix that so i'd contact an admin (lol funny im just suggestin admins all over this post) and have them help you out. DrakeTheDragon
It must be something else with the settings you have/make when searching.I'm presented your mod 1st place every time, whether I search with "include adult files" or without. You said you "uncheck" the adult search filter for it to show up, so while "include adult files" is checked your mod does not show up?That doesn't even make sense technically, as things should only get "excluded" when "include" options are NOT checked, not the other way round. I can't help too much in this regard anyways, and it might indeed need an admin to look into it, but it will definitely help if you give us some more information about "all" of your specific search settings and options, the tags you block during the search, as well as the tags you block globally all the time, or other similar things which could affect your search results, as there's multiple. Maybe some screenshots might help also, especially when the hidden sections for blocked tags and such are opened in them. I for one cannot replicate your issue, and it doesn't seem to be a problem with your mod itself. So people will need all information about the things different on your end than on their's they can get in order to be of help here. edit: Coming to think of it, there's even multiple options in regards to "adult" content ("include" and "show only"), and you're not exactly giving away much about which one it is you're talking of. This as well could use some elaboration.
Empyrean42
Sorry. If I do a search for "warpaint" I get results that include adult files and mine was on the second page. If I unchecked that box I would get new results that would not include my mod at all. I can no longer duplicate it, and I actually don't see my mod at all anymore. maybe my phone is interfering, I'll try tonight at home.
Empyrean42
My apologies ... I assumed that since I have an extremely new account I didn't have any blocks on search content, but apparently I did ... somehow. Removed blocks. Mod appears. Weird, I had searched for it earlier and ran into those problems, then suddenly couldn't find the mod at all, and I know I didn't block anything between searches in a matter of seconds as I didn't even know that was possible to do. I'll blame terrorists. That's the ticket.
DrakeTheDragon
No need to be sorry or apologize. I was just telling what was missing in your OP in order for others to be of much help right away, without having to ask their way down to the core first. Not everybody knows everything others will need to be able to diagnose those specific kinds of issues, so in cases where I know what's needed and it's missing, I just mention it. So, content blocks it was, just like I was suspecting as one possible reason out of many. Glad you figured it out. :thumbsup:Now your topic also serves as an example for others to first check these whenever they encounter something similar and come above it in their forum searches. And it wasn't wrong at all to ask around either, as it could have just as well been an issue with the site itself just not mentioned by anybody up to now. We always welcome these reports, as those things need fixing by all means of course. As for why there's been content blocks active all of a sudden, although you were pretty sure you hadn't set up any last time you checked, this also can very well be possible. Now, it isn't like the site deliberately resets or alters your preferences whenever the devs feel like it, by no means, but it's actually a well-known issue for some people under some circumstances for parts of their preferences to reset all of a sudden without any solid reason as far as one can see. I'm still convinced it's something to do with cookies and the way your preferences are stored inside these sometimes and not always inside the database... but without any insight into the website code itself my guess is just as good as anybody else's. You could be just another victim of this weird phenomenon, or not... we can only guess. However, making a topic about it to ask for help like you did, even if it turned out to be just a simple overlooked mistake on your end, seriously does never hurt.
