pHeeLux
Anyone else think it is really wrong that armor leveling happens from getting hit while wearing that armor? That means if you want to max your Heavy or Light Armor you have to purposely get hit (and a LOT if you're not using Community Uncapper to set a high XP multiplier for your armor skill). I know certain mods (e.g. Requiem) allow you to level your armor skill simply by wearing that armor and running around, in addition to taking blows in that armor. Is there any mod that makes simply moving around the only means of leveling armor? So I don't have to (rather illogically) stand around getting hit by a Giant/Mammoth for a couple hours? For a contemporary comparison, would you get used to wearing a bullet proof vest by purposely standing in a firing range and getting shot as many times as possible, or would you simply wear the vest while performing your normal activities to grow accustomed to the weight? pHeeLux
Well I almost exclusively play light armor characters, and I always play Requiem. Evasion is the point of light armor in Requiem.

Evasion is the point of light armor in Requiem.my point still stands though in the case of light armor it would make sense i guess to learn by simply wearing it... i never use heavy armor myself. no real need for it, i can actually play the game without armor if i really wanted to. Skyrim is really easy even with the many combat overhauls.
