Vindekarr
You are awefully forgiving. I do no accept disrespect from anyone or anything. In my honest experience, the role of technical support drone is usualy given to the same people who troll forums. Because they've trolled me many a time. Last time I phoned technical support, and was not given sufficient service and respect, I took the childish teen's details, and phoned a diferent tech support person at that company, told him what trhe first boy had called me, and told him that I'd never use that company again. You've got to make people like this squirm. Make them suffur, make them fear. With people like this, its a power game. Their lives are miserable and entirely revolve around tohers. This makes them act agressive whenever they can, in my experience. For this reason, you've got to slam the full weight of your displeasure down on them or they'll walk all over you. However the worst technical support I've gotten has two contenders: Dell PC australia and Gearbox Software USA. The man from Dell told me, to my face, that "sorry r*****, I cant understand your accent, go bother someone who actualy cares-or even better, get the hell back to your country" The disgusting little wretch I had originaly tasked with giving me information about which brands my Dell office computer was compatible with. His only response was a hail of racist insults. Eventualy my infamous temper snapped like a rusty chain and I riled a security guard up and sent ihim to harrass the Dell man. Dell man hadnt done anything criminal, but it being pushed around by the huge brute did hopefully ruin his day. I am not Russian, not majority, though I've done a bit of research into my family heritage and there is some small amount of Russian blood mixed in with Celtic and Norwegian genetics, however, I do get a bit of racism mostly to do with the fact that even though I was born there, I dont have an australian accent. That man from Dell gave me no information of use, accept that he was a hateful bigot. The other deserves credit for simply knowing nothing at all. Earlier this month I downloaded a number of DLC packages from GearBox software to expand borderlands. This packages self intalled, once downloaded they did everything themselves. However, the packages did not contain game data. All of the packages were completely corrupted, and no amount of re installing, tweaking, or changes of software, hardware, OS and background data made any diference. So I phoned customer support, intending to simply hand them the report I'd compiled about what had happened and be on my way. I've plenty of experience with PCs, I've been assembling them since I was a young kid, have used them to programm many mods, composed and made anime and machinima, and am currently on an IT course. I am also infamous for my short temper when anyone steps upon my proverbial toes. Insulting my intelligence, principals, ethnicity or culture is a sure fire way to give yourself sore ears and a head full of rant. So for this reason, the man who pciked up the phone of Borderlands customer support should be given credit for foolishness: His first words were "yo, what yo want whitey?" He atleast was silent while I told him exactly what had happened, but then said "speak english you idiot, if you cant make the installer work, then you're too stupid to be playing video games, go back to your hole retard." I told him that I wanted to speak to someone qualified, and that if he was to stupid, and to incompetant to understand even the simplest of computer related information that perhaps he should get a job more to his calibre, such as a janitor. He reached for what everyone seems to when Im around and called me something racist. Now, some people are outstanding examples of defying a stereotype. These men re-enforced stereotypes. The Dell man was short, white, had thinning hair, and acted like a racist with no knowledge, the other was african american, knew nothing, and seemed to completely miss the point of what I was saying.
