Lehcar Posted October 10, 2010 Share Posted October 10, 2010 In the dialog box. Is there any way to make it so the subtitles for NPC's dialog stays up longer? In game it seems to only stay on the screen for like 2 seconds... like my custom NPC is talking too fast. Also whenever I try to add a quest to a character's dialog box, as soon as I exit and open it again, it disappears and the Quests tab just says "ALL" again, what the hell? Lehcar Posted October 10, 2010 Author Share Posted October 10, 2010 Well I made a dummy quest with no conditions or plot stages or anything, just put in dialog so I could stick it onto a certain NPC so they would just say that dialog. But when I try to put the quest into the NPC's dialog window, it just removes itself automatically as soon as I close it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You've made the quest and placed the dialogue, i'm assuming it's a straight forward topic.You need to set the condition GetIsID <npcname> == 1Then write a script to attach to the quest that will add the topic to the player, so it will appear in that NPC's dialogue options.
