zelda1805
I don't know why but certain mods like HGEC or Rens Beauty Pack don't work =[ I install them but when I go to data files, they don't show up. Lots of other mods work though. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows any good armors that don't require HGEC or any other body mods. One that I like is some catsuit one. Anything that looks cool I guess. (also, are there any other body mods that I should try out?) Thanks, I'm a newb :]
Eiries
You're probably having trouble with HGEC because it's an OMOD file. Try opening it with Oblivion Mod Manager and see how it works out. ;) Note that almost any armor that leaves the character completely covered (no skin showing) will work with any body mod. Ferryt
Zelda, if you're looking for a good alternative to HGEC and you don't mind your female characters having a "normal" body and average sized breasts, try out Robert's female body replacer. Unlike his male body replacer (which I strongly recommend) he only offers the single body type for female characters -- the only real drawback for those players who like their women so top-heavy they look like they need back supports to keep from breaking in half. There is, currently, limited support regarding erotic clothing and armor for Robert's female body, but as Eiries said, if you're looking for realistic armor, rather than the skimpy stuff, just about anything should work with it. One problem is, if OP has problem with using HGEC, he/she may have problem with any other body replacer as well. For Ren's beauty pack, since it's quite old mod, so it doesn't matter what game version it is. To OP, first check your OS and intall location. For Windows Vista and 7, it's recommended to install the game somewhere else, other than default location, unless you want to disable UAC.

Yeah, I have omod but it doesn't work cause it says I'm not the administrator... This is my personal computer so I'm not really sure why I'm not administrator. A weird thing is when I move some downloaded files/mods from my desktop (I extract them on to my desktop) to the data folder, it says "You will need to provide administrator permission to move this file." I just hit continue and it works. Oh, and I am looking for more skimpy armor rather then full covered up. Thanks Zelda, if you're looking for a good alternative to HGEC and you don't mind your female characters having a "normal" body and average sized breasts, try out Robert's female body replacer. I tried Robert's female body replacer too but it didn't work. It was exactly what I was looking for. Maybe I don't install it right? I download it. Extract to desktop with 7z. Then move it into the data folder. Is there something I didn't do right? Thanks

When UAC is on, even you are using administrator account, you are normallly treated as a standard user, and you will be asked when some commands need admin power. So it will keep asking you for permission to write into Program Files, which is the default install directory of Oblivion. If you don't want to turn off UAC, nor change the install directory. Try to right click on OblivionModManager , choose Run as Administror. If omod files didn't appear in the list, copy them to \Oblivion\obmm\mods before running obmm. And then double click on the mods to install. Successfully installed omods should have a blue icon. And I am not sure if you had done Achive Invalidation, this is required for replacers to work. It may not be done under Limited user mode...
Azrax
Better yet, try Archive Invalidation Invalidated, that stops you bothering around with archive invalidation. It's here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10724 You will need to be admin since it's a program and needs to be installed, not just dropped into data like mods. Smooth613
Better yet, try Archive Invalidation Invalidated...-snip- **You still need to follow LFact's advice about UAC before any of this matters** Instead I suggest using BSA Redirection which is a built in function of both Oblivion Mod Manager and Wrye Bash. The following link, ArchiveInvalidation Destroyed explains it all. Further down the page it tells you how to use BSA Redirection in both OBMM and Wrye Bash. Although I'll provide you with a quick rundown. OBMM:1. Open OBMM and click Utilities2. Click Archive Invalidation3. Select BSA Redirection and click Update4. Close OBMM and play Wrye Bash:1. Open Wrye Bash and click your Installers Tab2. Right click the Package header3. Near the bottom click BSA Redirection to place a check mark beside it.4. Close WB and play Enjoy.
