EyeOfArgonia
The reason I decided to post this is because I was very bored, and I thought other people would find some of these pretty funny. Both of these were due to having a very high Personality Attribute: I was walking somewhere, I don't remember where (this was a while ago, you see), when a bandit bowman showed up. He turned to me and said, "I have a feeling you and I are about to become real close!" I killed him anyway. I was doing the main quest, and I was at the part where you go to the Arcane University. There's this Wood Elf in there (I forgot her name), that I'd never seen before as that character. She said to me "I'm so happy to see you, I could burst!" Here's what happens when you use council commands to put a bounty on someone's head: Walking around the town of Chorrol is a High Elf who is a member of the Fighter's Guild. He carries a bow and some arrows around with him wherever he goes. With the bounty placed on his head, a guard drew his sword and chased him into a bush. After listening to combat for a few minutes, the guard, now shot full of arrows, casually stepped out. It actually looked pretty funny, but I guess you'd have to experience this yourself to fully understand it. Two guards were standing at one of Bruma's gates. I set the bounty on one of them, so the other attacked and killed him. He then bent down by the body and said, "May you rest in peace." These are two strange glitches that I encountered: For everyone whose ever joined the Mages Guild should know that before you are allowed to enter the Arcane University, you must complete a task for the Guild Hall in each town. Well, once when I did the task for Anvil, the two battlemages had killed the rogue mage that was murdering traveling merchants on the Gold Road, and an Imperial Legion Soldier seemed to show up out of nowhere and was locked in combat with the battlemages. He killed one of them and instantly shouted, "Help! Murder!" Once, when I came to Skingrad to speak with the count, two guards got in my way and charged me with murder. I ended up having to throw money away for nothing. Strange things happen in Castle Kvatch: I decided to force Martin into fighting the Daedra off with me. Inside the Castle, Martin was in up-close combat with a Daedroth. I took out my bow, and readied my arrow, aiming at the Daedroth. But, right at the moment I fired, the Daedroth got out of the way. Of course, the arrow had to hit something, and Martin made a good target. The arrow struck him in the face and knocked him down. Quite often, when I do this Quest, Savlian Matius takes his pants off and runs around in his underwear. Disturbing, don't you think? This isn't exactly a glitch, but its still funny: I was in the town of Anvil. I don't remember why, but this guy just drew his sword and started attacking me. He shouted, "Guards! Someone's being attacked!" Strange things in Planes of Oblivion: I was in the Plane of Oblivion outside of Cheydinhal, fighting with the count's son. I drew my huge, enchanted Daedric Warhammer, and approached a Dremora. When I did a power attack, the count's son ran out in front of me. Lets just say he had a sad ending. You know how in some Planes of Oblivion, you find a dead Mythic Dawn guard in a cage? Once, I resurrected one. He stood up, stared at me, then shouted, "For Lord Dagon!" Then continued to stare at me. Strange conversation: I summarized this conversation so that it gets to the point. Also, if you're wondering how Antoinetta Marie is talking Arquen, I resurrected her. Antoinetta: I heard about your most recent contract. Arquen: So, word gets around fast! Let me guess, Antoinetta's been running her mouth of again. I guess Arquen had no idea who she was talking to. So, those were about my funniest Oblivion moments. Took me a while to write this, so I hope you liked it.
Kaliprax
The funniest thing in Oblivion for me is the NPC AI. Right, these are the things you need to have some extreme lols: --Fame. You need this so everyone will like you. Alternatively you can persuade and bribe everyone.--A good Frenzy spell, one that will affect guards. I recommend 'Ajhazda's Paranoia': a greater power given to you by Ajhazda in the Shivering Isles for doing her quest.--A tough summon. Any of the greater powers you gain doing the SI main quest will do i.e. 'Summon Flesh Atronach'--Good armor, good speed and acrobatics. You will be needing to run and may find youself getting pummeled. Now. Travel to the IC Market District and be there at around 2pm. Walk up to a guard. Cast 'Ajhazda's Paranoia'. Punch him in the face and quickly run backwards. Cast 'Summon Flesh Atronach'. Don't let yourself get arrested, and go to a safe view point to watch the carnage :) This doesn't always work that well every time, just experiment with fame, summons, frenzy spells and, generally, drive the Elder Counsel mad !
