A holster would also be troublesome, since guns come in a variety of shapes and sizes. I don't want to discourage the request, just letting you know the reason that it's unlikely to happen. devinpatterson Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Yeah I don't see any way to do the actual "holstering" without new animations as Ledez stated. However if you can find a kf that looks like it's close you could probably force a playidle on teh unequip block of the weapon script. I don't know if that would result in two animations in sequence though. For the pistol actually being holstered, I was messing around with something similar in another thread here, which is a request for a front holstered/slung rifle. It would work the same for a pistol under the upper arm or armpit. For the other aspect of your request (holsters) that's much, much easier. You could just put together a little armor addon of a holster and move it about a bit to fit it to the default pistol location. Unless you only use one pistol or they are all the same size your going to have to either have oversized holsters (fits the largest pistol you use) or different pistols for each gun. You can swap out the holsters by adding it to the equip and unequip block of a new script on the weapon. Might get a bit messy if you have a lot of holsters to swap, but in theory a *whole* lot easier than trying to change the position a pistol is holstered at. devinpatterson Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Take a look around and see what pistol holsters are available (preferably modders resources, as we won't have to wait to get permissions) and I should be able to edit them to fit any pistol. Some armor however may obscure or partially obscure the holsters. Anyway I should be able to rig something up, although I can't say with any certainty that I'll have the time to. Also that i only wear clothing and not armors like the Merc Grunt, or Merc Adventurer clothes, which i wear most..i use it so mods that *do* have a bit of clipping problems wont do much since its not a bulky armor so maybe like just two holsters amd somehow move the position of the holstered pistols, ill animate it myself later(im learning) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If that's the case it's not going to be great for anything that's not in the high position (ie all the other pistols that are on your hip). But that's down the road, nothing to worry about now. I checked on the Harness from the flashlight mod i said and he dosent know who made it, although he used it, and hasn't gotten permission yet either, so would someone be able to use it or will they need permission from the FlashlightNVSE mod maker?
