Aefion
Hi This ale bottle keeps showing up in my inventory, and every time I drop it, it keeps coming back! I'm sure it is from a mod but I don't know which one, I only just noticed it recently. here is a pic showing the bottle and how it looks in my bag: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-p694zN3q0Gc/VLJ0N7kuK_I/AAAAAAAAAkQ/0wGy48JFaqs/s1600/Glitch%2Bbottle.png Here is a list of all the mods I have installed: https://andylexbain.wordpress.com/2013/09/09/aefs-skyrim-mods-list/ If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated Aef Edited January 11, 2015 by Aefion
Demigodeath
Never happened to me, but felt like helping. But it could be a missing data from a mod.Just a theory: since it keeps coming back, maybe refillable potions mod? But is it really so annoying? It has no weight or isnt damaging when you use it, right?People are complaining that you have to carry the Elder scrolls from the Dawnguard DLC, even when they have no weight, since they are quest items and you cant get rid of them. Aefion
Thanks for the reply, well I guess it doesn't really matter too much, since it doesn't damage me or anything, but it is really annoying, since when I go back to a settlement to sell stuff I keep seeing it there. Might have to uninstall the potions mod and see if that does anything. As for the Elder Scrolls, I would've thought you could use the control console to remove them? That's what I've done with other quest items...
BlackRampage
Install this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/? Then drop the bottle, open the console and select the bottle. It should display what plugin adds it. Judging by the "name" of the bottle it might be a mod in some foreign language with a different script like Cyrillic or Chinese. KimberJ
Whatever the mod is, it can't be good to use something so poorly made or designed. It begs the question if they couldn't get that part right, what else is wrong with it. I've deleted/abandoned mods for less.
Aefion
Install this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/? Then drop the bottle, open the console and select the bottle. Tried that, don't think it told me what plugin added the bottle though. All I got when I clicked on the bottle whilst in the console was a little box on the right hand side of the screen with the following info: nonetype: ObjectSTAT(STAT)ID: 0004d75dbase ID: 0004d75clocate: Skyrim.esmdefine: Skyrim.esm So dunno if the mod worked or not, I don't think it did or I was doing something wrong :/
Aefion
Dunno if anyone is reading this anymore, but I found the mod. If anyone else has the problem and doesn't know which mod is causing the bottle to appear, its this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56155/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D56155%26preview%3D&pUp=
