Eye Troubles

So, this is my second third time in here.

 

So, I am having trouble with NPC eyes. They are turning all black and... marble-ish. It is quite obnoxious. I loaded Ren's beauty Pack (full, cuz I LOVE the mystic elves with tattoos),... Thanks in advance for whoever answers this question, because I am sure it will be helpful, just like last time =D.

So i uninstalled and re-installed. Not having as much of a problem (saved main files to another folder just in case...). Though now there is a problem with the eyes being all creepy and having two in them. Like two textures over one mesh or something. I have had this problem before, though I don't really know how I fixed it.

Any tips on this one?

Thanks I didn't know that that was what they were referred to as. Although i went through some of the pages, short of deactivating my mods (or rather, the mods I have), I cannot get the googly eyes to repent and begone. Which makes me sad. I am pretty sure I am just being retarded, but are there any fixes that anyone knows about? Thank you.

 

By the way, I tried putting the textures into the appropriate folders and such. Didn't change anything. I was wondering: can I download a 'mod' that implements the vanilla eyes, or maybe makes the eye textures available randomized for the NPCs so that they get an eye texture instead of the googly eyes? Or is that even possible?

Most eye problems are related to having too many 'beauty' type mods installed. Each one wants to control how the eyes look and you get something strange. black eyes, no eyes, googly eyes, strange color etc. Look for mods such as 'beautiful people' and any custom race mod. disable all of them and see if you get the vanilla eyes back. Then reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem.

 

Beautiful People was one of the early mods that changed eyes, and many of the later mods used a different technique causing a conflict resulting in strange eyes. Some race mods change the eyes while others do not.
