No scars

So, is this a problem other people face? I have no scars in the slider. I downloaded the game around December 27th; so it was over a month since release and since whenever they first patched it. It's not a -huge- deal, but it would be nice to have access to them x(.

My assumption is that either something went wrong with the installation, or it's the settings of my graphics-- which are on high. If it's the second case, do I need to be running on ultra to use them?

Like "Hair", or "Eyes", "Scars" are a completely separate area to customize.

They are not part of the "Skintone" or "Complexion" selections.

(NOTE: I'm still getting used to the fact on many screens that have a long list of player-selectable choices, only a few (4-6) appear on-screen even though there's plenty of room for lots more. I keep forgetting to scroll down to see the "other" possibilities.)

I'm not sure what you're trying to say? I know they're in separate categories; but in the scar slider itself, I see nothing. It gives me the option of scrolling through, but the scars aren't visible-- even on max capacity and when I play around with the positioning. I have everything else, they're just the only thing missing.

From what i know this is a problem from a older patch..is your game up to date? There is a quickfix, because, if your scars and freckles are gone and your hair is superduper shiny again it's a shader problem...but if only the scars are gone i suppose its a bug maybe? o_O

It should be. What's the current version number? And my hair isn't that shiny; but I'm not running on ultra so everything isn't as polished as it could be.

Also... freckles? I see freckles and moles in the skin complexions, but no option for freckles. Is there a slider for freckles xD? I MUST KNOW! Because if there is, I'm being denied the freckles, too.

well its more the skin option..thing..hehe....need frecklemod......o-o. well, try this; in your origins, rightclick your game and select properties, in the box that comes up type in -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel ultra/hard/normal/low depending on what you have in your mesh settings. This did work for a friend of mine when his scars went kapoof. :> and if it doesnt or if it would cause any problems just open properties again and remove it.

I had this problem too. I took me a while to figure out what it was but found somewhere its a patch bug because somehow they used setting from the consoles for pc patches ^^ smartasses (not sure if its true because it sounds kinda weird)
Update your game to 2.5 patch and it should be solved, atleast it did for me. I never had the problem for shiny hair even running the game in ultra

What NaatalienN said should works too  but updating was less of a hassle for me  its just options gone wrong in the patch is all ^^
